“Fight Me” Nicky x Cami (rip)
she had been working on the bike, she wasn’t sure why she kept doing it for him. they hated each other and yet , he came to her every time and she never turned him away. she even spoke with him as she worked. most of the time they fought, but on occasion, they had actual civil conversations. it seemed forced most of the time, but it happened. it was silent now, neither saying a word. not even when he showed up with the bike. she just rolled her eyes at him bringing in the bike AGAIN.
she was taking a break, well kinda. she was looking for the right parts, but was taking her time about it, having just spent so much time taking pieces apart and working on the things that could be fixed easily. “ this place reeks of wet dog. ” the vampire complained. “ i’m not the one who asks you to come back, dick. learn to drive and maybe you wouldn’t be in here so often. ” she pointed out, moving past him. she knew he hated when she spoke of his driving skills. “ why don’t you just hurry the fuck up, mutt, so i can leave. ” rolling her eyes one more “ you’re pathetic. ” she spoke, not caring. she didn’t miss the look that crossed his face. a look filled with hurt. she struck a nerve, good.
she paused her movements when she heard metal crash to the floor. “ pick. it. up. ” she growled. “ i’m not your bitch! ” another dog pun. “ why don’t you get your stupid boy toy to do it? ” the vampire was smirking. “ oh, that’s right. ” his tone was taunting which only caused her to growl more. “ get. out! ” she was about to lose it. the temperamental shifter was sure she’d end up killing him if he spoke again. “ i bet you make your parents proud, chasing after someone who doesn’t want you. ” he continued, wanting to hurt her. she froze at the mention of her parents. a mother who abandoned her and a father who beat her and killed her brother.
“ you’re just like your father, i’m sure. doing that shifter line real proud. ” she lost it. her fist connecting with his face with no hesitation. it was no secret that she got her gene from her father. she had mumbled it once to him, bitterly. her body was shaking and in less time then either could blink, a black and white wolf stood where she was, snarling at the vampire. her back arched slightly, ready to attack. snapping her teeth, she did just that. tackling him before he had a chance to run. she knew he was struggling to keep her teeth away from him, knew he realised he went to far. but she didn’t care. didn’t care if he was sorry, didn’t care if he wasn’t. she was finally going to do what she always said she would. . . she was going to end him.
feeling him move, the female shifter fought harder to just bite him, tear his head off. but her own movements gave him a chance to use his legs. kicking her, sending the shifter flying into the bike she had been working on. a whimper coming from her as she landed on one of the pieces of the bike. blood falling from her wound. she leapt up though, despite the pain. she looked toward him, only to see him glancing at her once more before he took off. leaving her in both physical and emotional pain.
he did the one thing she’d never forgive. . . he compared her to her father. the one person she saw as a bigger monster than even vampires.
