LA Verse: “Good morning, hope you don’t mind me borrowing your shirt."
Chloe woke up with bleary eyes at the sound of her drawer closing. Sitting up and yawning, she looked up to see Beca standing at the foot of her bed, buttoning up an old flannel shirt of hers as she spoke. “Mornin’,” Chloe replied, her mind trying to piece together the previous night. She remembers her opening night, arriving at a cast mate’s place for the after party, and the first two round of shots. After that it all became a little blurry. She has a flash of Beca ushering her into a cab and Beca telling her to drink some water and take Asprin before bed. Pushing the covers off, Chloe shifts a little more towards Beca. “Keep the shirt, it looks better on you.” It fit Chloe just right but on Beca it hung a little loose on her frame, but the blue color really brings out her eyes. “And thanks for taking care of me last night. I know I can get a little clingy when I drink. I hope I didn’t drive you crazy,” Chloe offers as she moves forward to sit up on the bed and adjust the collar of the shirt before smoothing it out. “Perfect.”
Rivals Verse: "I thought you’d be gone by the time I woke up…"
Chloe looked up from where she sat at Beca’s desk. She had woken up a half an hour ago and had just ran to the bathroom to put herself together before she plugged her phone into Beca’s computer to charge. “I thought maybe we could get breakfast?” Chloe suggested as she moved to sit at the foot of Beca’s bed, her hand settling on her thigh above the blanket. “Plus Aubrey sort of called me out on flirting with you last night so I might be banned from our apartment until I feel up to groveling.”
TA Verse: "I’m guessing this was a one time thing?”
Chloe’s brow furrowed, confused as to why Beca said that. “Look, I know I’m your TA and maybe kissing you wasn’t the best idea, but you won’t even be in this class in three months.” Though kissing might be a little tame to describe what they had gotten up to after the concert. “So either we can put this on hold until then or we can keep it on the down low because I’m not letting an opportunity pass. I act on my feelings. Now I think you owe me coffee”
Shapeshifter Verse: “Don’t answer it!”
Chloe had been awake for about twenty minutes, but she hadn’t budged. She was too content with having Beca curled into her. They had fallen asleep in Beca’s bed after a night of take out and YouTube videos until 2 a.m. It seemed that Beca was a little more willing to give affection when she was half asleep. A knock at the door surprised Chloe, having thought they were the only two Bellas in the house but when she hard Amy’s voice through the wood Chloe remembered a text she’d sent about spending a weekend at Barden over the summer to hang out with one of her boyfriends. Chloe was about to get up when Beca moved to hold onto Chloe tighter. “Don’t get it,” she mumbled and Chloe grinned down at her. “Beca’s busy right now!” Chloe called out. “We’ll get lunch later,” she offered and laughed as Beca side eyed her and Amy rattled off something about ‘calling it’. “She totally thinks we’re doing it.”
