What an angel. There was this aura around her that would make you see that halo on top of her head. Bora can’t help but think that maybe she’s lost but even Bora doesn’t know the way back to heaven. She’s just too pure for this world. This place is cruel and happiness can’t be found so easily that she just wondered to herself why and how can someone like her exist. Stupid are those people who wouldn’t fall for her charms. Blind are those who do not see just how pure she is. Her protective side kicked in when she saw Sun for the first time. She could only hope that the people whom she crosses paths with would never take advantage of her kindness.

Continued hushed whispers about this boy roam the halls of Cheongnam. Even the locker room filled with young girls who don’t know him personally continues to gossip about him. Curiosity got the best out of her that she went ahead to see for herself who the guy was. He’s tall, good-looking and overall, he’s like a prince who knows well to himself that he is. He continued to walk without paying attention to the people who are openly blabbering about him while others swoon at the sight of him. Bora tilted her head, wondering why they speak so much negativity about this boy when all he did was look good. “I guess some people really can’t take it that there are people like him above them.”

There was this weird thing in this school that made Bora groan a lot more than she should. When she heard someone sigh deeply outside the bathroom stall, Bora goes to wash her hands and notices something. Why does she look like a doll? No one told her they were accepting barbie dolls here. “You okay?” She asked and that question turned into a long discussion that was often cut when someone came in, pretending to just chill in the washroom and sharing their opinions on certain things. “I’ll get going now. Gotta run to class.” Bora bids her farewell but then as she steps out in the hallway, she turns to look at the smart barbie doll, only to see her long time crush talk to her and smile at her fondly. Was she getting jealous? Insecure? Ugh. There she goes groaning again as she makes her way to her next class.

Smart. That’s how Bora would describe her from seeing her for the very first time. Not because she was solving sudoku during lunch or discovering a new theory while she walked down the hall. She held her head high and kept her mouth shut despite hearing nasty remarks from random spoiled brats. Bora eyed her while clutching on her books befoe turning to the girls who have nothing more to say but nasty things. Thus, she speaks in French. Telling them to fuck off and use their brains before insulting anyone. Soobin would make it big someday. Bora believed she would.

They must be kidding me. Bora thought to herself when she saw him. He was tall and good looking but he dressed like they stole all his money and let him sleep in the storage room. Her artistic spirit was highly offended that Bora had to keep her mouth shut for the sake of business and to spare his feelings. But goodness! Who let this child look like a mess?! If she were pregnant then and her child would have horrible taste in fashion someday, Bora was gonna blame Daejung for it. He’s a skater? Yeah... sure.. If that’s what they said.

Cha Sumin is nothing but trouble. Bora had heard that over and over again. Even before she approached her or even formed a bond of friendship between them, Bora had seen her from afar. Away from the crowd like she’s plotting to murder someone but instead of getting intimidated by her, she kept her distance to stay out of trouble. A part of her felt that Sumin was just a misunderstood soul. Sumin made Bora curious many times. It felt like looking through a mirror and seeing your reflection. They say our reflections live a different life than we do and they block us from crossing the mirror to keep us safe. Seeing how Sumin was living her life, Bora realized that Sumin might just be that reflection.

Confused and intrigued. Bora stared at the boy who stood a few steps away from her, the distance was close enough for her to see the galaxy that he is. The stars danced on his cheek to the other. Time stood still and she wondered why he was trying to look away from her. Did she do something wrong? No. She was just admiring the stars. They made him stand out. Was she supposed to pretend that they didn’t exist? They did and she finds them beautiful. He is too. But using the stars as an excuse to look at him more often felt like a really good and plausible excuse.
