who hogs the duvet: Candace, but they’re practically permanently spooning while sleeping so it really doesn’t matter
who texts/rings to check how their day is going: CANDACE I mean girlfriend is ALWAYS on her cellphone
who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts: As per the Christmas special, they always get each other the “perfect gift”
who gets up first in the morning: Candace - she raised a child while acing law school, she’s got the get up and go in her. She also likes waking up first cause she gets to see Jeremy’s sleeping face. She thinks it’s adorable. Even the drool.
who suggests new things in bed: Candace. These two have ONLY ever had sex with each other so it’s all very vanilla at first. But Candace writes fanfiction, so she’s READ some things she wants to try out.
who cries at movies: Candace. All of her emotions run very, very high.
who gives unprompted massages: Jeremy. Candace is almost always stressed about something and he wants to help her any way he can. Little unprompted back and shoulder massages happen very often.
who fusses over the other when they’re sick: Candace fusses over Jeremy more because fussing over things it what Candace does best.
who gets jealous easiest: C A N D A C E
who has the most embarrassing taste in music: Jeremy would WANT to say that it’s Candace (she listens to the Paisley Sideburn Brothers, after all), but given that she also loves his band, he never dares insult her taste.
who collects something unusual: Jeremy. Homeboy kept a pencil Candace gave him in elementary school for crying out loud.
who takes the longest to get ready: Candace, she goes through so many options before deciding on something.
who is the most tidy and organised: Jeremy. Candace is so scattered with everything going on and Jeremy holds everything together.
who gets most excited about the holidays: Jeremy. Candace is always lowkey worried about what her brothers are doing and Jeremy’s just like “I love this time of year though! Oh look mistletoe guess we gotta kiss now…”. Jeremy’s sister is also a lot younger than Candace’s brothers so it’s a bigger deal for his family for the first 5 years (and then after 5 years there’s Amanda so they have their own little thing to spoil)
who is the big spoon/little spoon: It depends on the instance, it’s really 50/50. They’re just super cuddly.
who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sports: Candace. I feel like that goes without saying.
who starts the most arguments: They actually don’t argue much at all. Like the Christmas special, most of their arguments come from a misunderstanding. And once they sit down and communicate their thoughts and feelings there’s nothing to argue about.
who suggests that they buy a pet: Jeremy. Candace agrees, so long as it’s not a platypus.
what couple traditions they have: They don’t celebrate their anniversary on the actual DAY they got together, but rather on what ever day the summer solstice happens to fall that year, since the summer solstice was the day they first said the words “boyfriend” and “girlfriend” to each other
what tv shows they watch together: They’re both super into the competition reality shows. Dancing With the Stars, X Factor, Amazing Race, etc. They have one that they watch together on the couch every day of the week.
what other couple they hang out with: Stacy and Coltrane, until Stacy moves to Uruguay and becomes the president. As soon as they’ve grown up, they spend a lot time with Phineas and Isabella.
how they spend time together as a couple: When they’re in their teens it’s a lot of casual dates and hang outs. Going on walks, playing video games, Jeremy encouraging Candace to join him in whatever her brothers’ latest endeavor is, etc. As young adults the dates more serious, more frequent, and they spend more and more free time together. And then when Candace 20 and Jeremy is 21 SURPRISE THERE’S AMANDA
who made the first move: GOD WHO KNOWS NOT ME??? Would you consider it being Jeremy asking her to hang out Journey to the Center of Candace?? Is it Candace asking him to the ladies’ choice dance in Out to Launch?? It is Jeremy calling Candace his girlfriend in Summer Belongs to You??
who brings flowers home: Jeremy. He loves getting to spoil Candace, especially when she’s still in law school and super stressed all the time.
who is the best cook: Fam they do SO MUCH take out. Candace DOES inherit a bit of Linda’s kitchen abilities but she doesn’t really grow into them until after Amanda’s born and even then she doesn’t have much time to spend in the kitchen.
