oh god, i hadn’t even considered jonah trying that, but i wouldn’t be surprised.

i think something is going to tilt jon into going Full Whatever because.... that’s pretty much the only direction left TO go for endgame? he already died (and was suicidal), we already have the end of the world, etc. the only thing that hasn’t actually been done is Full Monster Jon, because even the worst thing he did is, like, nothing compared to every other avatar. (and monster jon doesn’t mean evil jon, to me, just.... transforming.)

and i will NOT take off my apotheosis tinfoil hat until jonny shoots it off of my head. i mean, “I AM,” and the actual literal word “apotheosis” being used more than once, and all that, and you know jonah is dying and thus the “i am” can’t be about him, so.... my kingdom for Entity Jon or some shit equivalent. he’s connected to ALL of the fears at this point, let’s go ALL the way.

(i have been thinking about this in earnest ever since the stuff re: the buried emphasized that there are worse things than death, and jon straight up said something like “if i die or get sealed away forever.” death is pedestrian, and forever is horrifying! i think the vast is cool, and even i got scared of it for a hot minute when stephen said he hoped grant was dead instead of the alternative. forever is scary! immortality is scary when you think about it realistically!)

@winterfalconx i know you only meant this as a fun little joke but i feel compelled to point out that it WAS In The Text there IS a scene IN CANON that specifically states Hannibal is in love with Will and there's another scene where Will states that him and Hannibal are flirting thats not subtext that is 100% In The Text there's a lot of subtext but the subtext IS confirmed in canon

Look I love Hannigram more than anything, and I know Hannibal loving Will is 100% canon, but i think there’s room for doubt about Will’s sexuality. So my response is more “i want a season 4 to confirm Will’s feelings” which i felt was left ambiguous (although i recognise this is probably the best they could do for an NBC show). Appreciate the politeness though :)
