i was recently thinking about Reno’s refusal for time off even though he’s probably hurting a LOT. I kinda got the impression he felt he didn’t deserve a rest after dropping the plate. ‘Patch up and suck it up, you know what you did.’ kinda deal. In Before Crisis, the Turks  were fighting off terrorists trying to blow reactors that would have killed up to 50,000 people.

In Crisis Core, they tried to Rescue Zack Fair. They failed, but they could still say they at least TRIED to do what was the right thing.

But come FF7, now Reno’s the one dropping the plate and killing thousands of people and i think that’s a rough take to come full circle like that  and suddenly find yourself committing to actions you’d previously been fighting against years prior.

🍏 : how stable is my muse’s physical health? do they go for regular or semi-regular checkups by a physician? do they have any diagnosed illnesses and / or take any medication? how often do they get sick? 

 Reno's health is fairly stable once he became a Turk. He takes the mandatory company checkups and that's about it. He has no diagnosed illnesses or meds. He's more likely to patch himself up at home or the office. You literally have to drop a plate on him to get him to go to the hospital. The only doc he won't hesitate to visit is a dentist. 

 🍉 : which of the four seasons suits my muse best, and why? Probably Spring. Reno is very high energy and lively, and everything comes alive in the Spring. It's also when there's some of the best Storms and Reno is quite strongly associated with lightening. 

 🍑 : how meticulously does my muse look after their physical appearance? do they spend a lot of time on their hair, makeup, grooming, and clothing? is there a particular reason why they do or don’t? 

 Common hygiene routine. Body hair is kept reasonably trimmed. He used to have to take a long time to style his hair, but he's been styling it the same way for so long he's got it down to about fifteen minutes. Bathing is once every three days unless he's been at the gym, or doing field work, but clean clothes EVERY day. Despite the fact his manner of wearing the Turks uniform is a tad loose and casual, the collars, jacket and slacks are pressed and clean.
