Jackssims tagged me but it’s too hot to post the rules or tag anyone
What title of “The Sims” first got you into the series? (i.e. 1, 2, 3, or 4) That would be the original Sims. Our housemate was very enthusiastic about it and it kind of sucked me in, though generally I couldn’t bear his computer games. Of course I’m a Sims2 gal now.
What is your favorite aspiration to give to sims? They all have their merits. Anybody reading this simblr could be forgiven for thinking it’s Romance, and I do have a lot of fun with it. My official favorite is Fortune, but for that very reason I give it out sparingly. A neighborhood - and you’ll notice that even when I’m playing a challenge I’m playing at the neighborhood level - needs all six aspirations, and a world of nothing but Fortune sims would be stodgy and not have much drama. The steady reliability of Fortune sims shines in relation to the messes the sims around them get into; and they need Romance, Pleasure, and Popularity sims to lure them into Drama, as well as Family and Knowledge sims to take care of.
Favorite Neighborhood/World? Any neighborhood is as fun as you make it. Obviously the ones I made myself - Widespot and Drama Acres - have an edge, as they are made to my own taste. But I love Strangetown even with no sims of my own in it.
Have you ever played a legacy challenge? If so, did you complete it? Oh, hell, no, and I doubt I ever would! I can’t play one household exclusively. It’s all about the neighborhood for me.
Favorite Premade Sim? What is the obsession with favorites? Vidcund, but that’s partly because I accidentally starved him to death the first time I ever played. And Nervous because he needs rescuing. And Joshua Ruben because of how he played in Drama Acres. And Monica Bratford. And Marla Biggs. And - you know what Rhett said about love multiplying the more you spread it around? That’s true with sims. It’s absolutely true.
