" you  keep  quite  literally  everything  bottled  up ,  don't  you ??  you  try  to  be there  for  everyone  else ,  but  nobody  has  ever  asked  about  you .  you have  a  mental  list  in  your  head  of  things  that  you  wish  beyond  wishing that  people  would  ask  to  know  about  you ,  but  nobody  has .  you're afraid  that  if  you  tell  them ,  you  won't  get  the  response  you  crave ,  which  gets  more  and  more  mysterious  and  gut-wrenchingly  necessary  with  every  day  that  goes  by  in  silence .  it  feels  like  you  aren't  allowed  to  exist.

november - chrysanthemum

chrysanthemum :   how does your muse express romantic love ?how do they feel about love as a concept ?

November, like her mother, has never been the type to express her love explicitly. She prefers to show it. This is true in any relationship and she’s had partners who haven’t understood that for sure. For the most part November believes love is out there but she’s not looking for it. She just wants a good time.

zinnia :   how has the loss of fallen comrades and/or loved ones affected your muse ?has it taught them anything or given them any new perspectives ?

Billy was young when she lost her mother and it devastated her. Her mother was her whole life. It’s definitely changed the way she looks at the world and she tries to hold her kids close, knowing nothing is forever. The loss of her father and her ex-husband showed Billy an independence she never had before. The world opened up to her with them no longer hanging over her shoulder.

sage :   what is your muse’s legacy ?what do they want to be remembered for   &   what might they actually be remembered for ?

Blake would like to be remembered for her bookstore as that’s one of the most important things to her. She wants to inspire literacy in others and introduce people to new pieces of literature to broaden their horizons.

lilac :   what was your muse’s childhood like ?how has their upbringing affected them as they’ve aged ?

HJ had a really good childhood with loving mothers who just wanted the best for her. It wasn’t perfect, but she’s grown into a good person who cares about others. That’s all her mothers could have asked for really. Her mothers’ lessons are what helps dictate how HJ interacts with other people. Their techniques for dealing with emotions and problems are things HJ still uses with herself and others.

iris :   if your muse could convey one last message to someone they have lost or left behind ,   what would it be ?

Rue doesn’t believe in having regrets and therefore if someone’s gone from her life, she moves on. There’s nothing she would want to tell them.

marigold :   is your muse prone to jealousy ?how might they handle envious feelings ?

Rye would never admit it but she does get jealous. She tries to project an indifferent exterior, it doesn’t always work. She doesn’t have the highest self esteem so when people she actually likes hang out with other people it can be hard for her. For the most part she tries to push the feelings down.
