as a random tidbit back in like...2012 i tried to rp xion v briefly and i designed her a new outfit (it was terrible) but i know she had a hair bow so im just fulfilling my younger self’s wishes of giving xion a bow

"Xion.” A name that Aqua had never known, and yet, when she looked upon that small waif of a girl, she could see them... faces she knew so well, faces she adored. Kairi, Sora, even Ven... But, underneath all the reflections and memories was another heart -- another soul. Stepping closer to the girl, she gently reached out, placing a hand over hers as she clutched at her keyblade. “You’re pulling your elbows in too tightly... It might help you deliver a heavier strike now, but, those joints will ache and slow you down before long.”

With a cant of her head, Aqua offered a gentle smile. It felt good to finally fulfill her role as a Master, even if it came over a decade later than it should have... There was still so little she knew of Xion, but, after fighting alongside everyone against the wicked Xehanort, the woman had resolved to reach out to them all. Some, she already knew well, while others were practically strangers... She hoped that, some day, they would all find strength in their bonds with one another, no matter how long it took. “You already possess so much power... With a bit more refinement, I’m sure that you could overcome any challenger.”

     HIS HEAD ACHES AS HE holds her , looks into her eyes &. sees right into that bittersweet feeling . he was trying to understand , to make sense of the whole situation , but no matter what conclusion he came to it never made sense . what was going on ? he feels like he’s about to explode , like something inside of him is just about to burst , but he doesn’t know why . why does looking at her make him so confused… yet so sad ?

    SHE’S… SMILING ? he thinks it’s odd that she’s doing so as she lays there helpless , weak , vulnerable , dying but she’s doing it anyways . was she smiling through her own pain , or was she smiling for him ? it had to be the former , didn’t it ? after all , he didn’t even know who this was . she surely wouldn’t have a reason to comfort a complete stranger . unless she did know him somehow ?

    SOMETHING IN THE BACK of his mind remembers the warm , setting sun &. the chill of the frozen treat that he &. axel shared . he… &. axel . that was it , right ? there was no one else there . but then why did that feel like a lie ? she had to have known him somehow , otherwise she wouldn’t have known his name .

    EYEBROWS FURROW as he looks up &. down her slender frame , hearing the noise of her body start to freeze from her feet up . she said that he wasn’t the one that had done this , that it was her choice , but who would choose something like this ? to crack &. shatter &. feel all that pain . to give up their life for… he didn’t know what . it couldn’t have been for him , could it ? either way , he knows that this is a choice he would never be able to make .

    SHE’S SPEAKING TO HIM – about kingdom hearts , xemnas , everything that he’d known from his short life . did this mean that she was in the organization herself ? it must have . she said something about her ‘mistakes’ in relation to kingdom hearts &. he didn’t quite understand all of it but he knew that she was trying to tell him that kingdom hearts – that everything he’d worked towards for the past year – was something dark . he’d trusted xemnas . he’d trusted everyone in the organization – he’d been lied to . but for some reason , in that moment , he didn’t find it hard to trust her at all .

    MAYBE IT WAS THE WAY she looked at him , that sincere expression , her kind smile , the way her eyes said that everything was going to be alright . of course , that itself was a lie , but everything she said felt true . what did she have to gain from lying , anyways ? as he stared at the ice forming on her body , he knew her time was running out .

    ❛goodbye , roxas .❜he turns his head to face her . that was his name , again . she said it with such fondness &. warmth &. it felt so familiar . like she’d said it to him a hundred times . he hates hearing her say ‘goodbye’ &. he doesn’t know why it hurts so much but it does . he doesn’t want her to go .❛see you again . i’m glad… i got to meet you . oh… and of course , axel , too .❜

    IT’S AT THAT POINT that he knows . her name is still fuzzy in his head , his memories of her distorted &. strange , but she had to have been there . even if he couldn’t remember at that moment , even if he never did , he knew . &. it hurt . his hurt wasn’t fake . axel , the organization , everyone was wrong . because it that moment , he felt it . he felt something inside his chest tighten &. ache – &. maybe it wasn’t a heart . but maybe he didn’t need one – maybe he could feel without one .

    ❛you’re both my best friends .❜ his features soften as she reaches a hand up to gently touch him .❛never forget . that’s — that’s the truth .❜eyes open wide in realization , a gasp escaping his lips as everything comes rushing back . the sunsets were seen by three , there were always three ice creams , three friends . him , axel , &. xion .

    ❝ no !❞he grabs her hand as it falls , holds it tight , knowing that he can’t let go . can’t let her go . can’t let her disappear forever .❝xion… ❞he’s trying to look at her , but her eyes are closed , head limply tilted back like she’s a broken doll . the smile on her face now does little to comfort him . ( so it was the latter reason , wasn’t it ? ) ❝ who else will i have ice cream with ?❞who else will be my friend ? who else will have my back , smile with me , laugh with me , care about me with the hearts that we shouldn’t have ?

    SHE DOESN’T RESPOND TO HIS QUESTION . the ice , glass , whatever it was – roxas didn’t care – spread up &. up &. he knew that there was no way to stop it as it covered her entirely . her body glows as its warm rays reach up to the sky – toward the sun &. the heavens , where she supposedly belonged . where she had ‘chosen’ to go . he looks up , watches her fade away before his eyes . would he forget her again ? now that her body was gone , would she become a ghost to haunt him or would she cease to exist entirely ?

    HE LOOKS DOWN ONCE AGAIN to where she used to be . xion’s gone but she’s left something behind . a seashell . he looks at it , remembers how she’d left him seashells as he slept &. how he’d done the same for her . but this time , no matter how long she slept , he couldn’t leave her any to count the days without her . he picks it up , remembers her kind smile , warmer than the setting sun that they both loved so much .❝xion…❞she can’t hear him now . it was pointless to say her name , but he was too afraid that not doing so would cause him to forget her again . he didn’t want to forget .

    UNLIKE ANYTHING HE HAD FELT BEFORE , he feels something wet roll down his cheek . more gasping escapes him , voice wavering to mimic the feeling inside of him . how wrong the other nobodies were to think that they were heartless . how dare they call him &. xion that . as much as it should make him feel angry , all he can feel at that moment is sadness &. regret .

    MAYBE HE COULD’VE SAVED HER , or stopped her somehow . it didn’t do him any good to think about the past though . free kingdom hearts . that’s what she wanted , right ? then he’d do it . he’d find a way to free kingdom hearts , he’d get her back , then the three of them could be together again .

Trust nothing with a hue of that colour. That is what he has learned. Such a fruit may be appealing to the eye, but prior experiences along with memory has taught him to be wary. Thus does he leave the lemon on the corner of his desk, untouched. 

The citrus aroma that permeates from the fruit is at least pleasant.
