Iori Izumi MemoMelo Rabbit Chat Part 1: Diamond Disk
Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5
Tsumugi: Iori-san, good work!
Tsumugi: I have big news!
Iori: Good work, manager.
Iori: What is it?
Tsumugi: Something amazing!
Tsumugi: The Diamond Disk selection commitee has just let me know that IDOLiSH7 has won the "Sapphire Award", for top male idols! Diamond Disk is one of the four award ceremonies that make up JIMA, and it focuses on idols. This is incredible..!
Iori: The Sapphire Award! And top male idols... We've finally come this far. Perhaps this is thanks to our victory at BorW.
Iori: It's happy news to hear that after last year's JIMA, we've even got a spot in Diamond Disk.
Tsumugi: Since Diamond Disk is a fair competition that chooses its victors based on sales across all sorts of music media, I believe the fact that "MEMORiES MELODiES" has been a hit for so long thanks to your BorW victory is what helped you win!
Iori: However, if we won Sapphire, I have to wonder about TRIGGER. "Leopard Eyes" has actually sold more, so I'm sure they will be elected for a different award.
Tsumugi: It's true that Diamond Disk consists of five different awards.
Tsumugi: There's "Diamond", the grand prize, "Ruby", for top female idols, "Sapphire", for top male idols, "Emerald", for songs rather than idols, and "Amethyst", for newcomers...
Iori: TRIGGER has most likely won the Diamond Award... To put it simply, this is as if they were the victors of BorW in the end.
Tsumugi: Right..! Re:vale is already being added to the Diamond Disk Hall of Fame, so the grand prize may go to TRIGGER.
Tsumugi: Still, please celebrate IDOLiSH7 winning the Sapphire Award as much as you can first!
Iori: Right. I was instantly thinking of the other group. It's a bad habit of mine. I should enjoy the fact that we've won an award first. It's for top male idols, after all.
Iori: Besides, looking at how much the follower counts of our official social media accounts have risen, it seems we've gotten new fans. The fact that we're winning an award at a time like this is quite big.
Tsumugi: So you've even been checking our follower counts, Iori-san...
Iori: Of course. They don't call me the Perfect High School Student for show.
Iori: I'm sure everyone will be overjoyed.
Tsumugi: All of them are more or less saying "It's like a dream". It's an indicator of how big you've grown, so I'd almost like to yell "It's not a dream!" back at them >< lol
Iori: That's so like them. I'm sure we'll get new job offers thanks to this award. When are the Diamond Disk results announced?
Tsumugi: It seems the results are first announced online on the 10th, then special programs will be formed based on the schedules of the winners, and finally, an award ceremony will be held!
Iori: We'll likely be busy again. Let's be even more mindful of our health than usual.
Tsumugi: Yes! I'll give you the pre- and post-ceremony lesson plan, as well as the promotion plan tomorrow.
Iori: So you'd already made them before I had to tell you to. That's a bit unexpected.
Tsumugi: I feel bad for relying on you all the time, so I put together a little something of my own ><
Iori: It seems that you've grown up a bit, just like we have.
Tsumugi: Uuh, I'm sorry...
Iori: Good grief, what are you saying to someone younger than you?
Tsumugi: I want to act like the older one sometimes too, so I'll make sure to grow even bigger. Be prepared!
Iori: In what way are you planning to grow bigger? Please explain it to me in concrete terms. And if you're talking about your height, I'll get angry.
Tsumugi: If I was talking about height, I wouldn't be able to surpass you unless I wore heels that are over 10cm long..! I'd probably fall over...
Iori: So you're planning to become even more clumsy than you already are...
Tsumugi: What do you mean by "clumsy"! You're awfully mean today! lol
Iori: These are my usual responses.
Iori: No, you should wait a second after all, manager. Now that I think about it, if you were to wear heels, it would make Nii-san the shortest among us
Iori: Let's not do that.
Tsumugi: I-I couldn't wear them anyways! ><

thank you @divergent-vanguard for the screenshots!
Iori Izumi MemoMelo Rabbit Chat Part 3: Understanding The Shoot!
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 4 | Part 5
Tsumugi: Iori-san, good work with your joint interview and shoot with TRIGGER today!
Iori: Good work, manager. We've done more interviews as of late, but even among them, this was a large-scale one.
Tsumugi: It was a group talk, a Q&A session, and a photo shoot all in one, after all ><
Iori: I can appreciate a long opening feature, though.
Tsumugi: It was called "Idols Who Shine Like Jewels ~Diamond Disk Feature~", after all!
Iori: I finally feel that we really won the Sapphire Award.
Tsumugi: Since it's a joint feature with IDOLiSH7, the winners of the top male idol prize, and TRIGGER, the winners of the grand prize, I think people will be quite excited for it! Of course, I'm also glad you seemed to enjoy the interview and the shoot.
Iori: The composition of photos for these sort of interviews is usually designated by the media staff, but we were photographed more freely this time.
Tsumugi: It was a mixed group shoot, after all. I was happy to see a revival of your shuffle units!
Choices/outcomes:
1. The picture of the "True Men!" unit was wonderful, wasn't it!
Iori: Even though they were all in suits, they braided their hair for the shoot, so I have to wonder if Yaotome Productions will approve... I am glad they all seemed to get along, though.
2. The picture of the "LOVE&GAME" unit was wonderful, wasn't it!
Iori: Their picture feels very different from the ones taken around he time of the grand re-opening, but is that good for our agency..?
Iori: It's supposed to be a unit with the sensual three, but they were playing around today. It seems Yotsuba-san ends up dragging others down with him when he fails to get into work mode.
3. The picture of the "HureHure! Youth Anthem" unit was wonderful, wasn't it!
Iori: Please stop. I had no room to breathe, stuck between those brocons. I was worried Nanase-san might blurt out a "Tenn-nii", whereas Kujo-san was being himself and eyeing me strangely.
Iori: In any case, I'm glad it ended without trouble. The award ceremony is next. Let's all try and brace ourselves.
Iori: In order to avoid starting any rumors before the ceremony, we must watch our time management and what we say on any programs that will ask for our comments.
Tsumugi: Right >< But you're all doing nicely, so I'm not too worried about that..!
Iori: Is that so. I felt my stomach drop at Yotsuba-san and Nanase-san's lack of a filter at that childcare experience program they co-starred in the other day, though...
Tsumugi: Tamaki-san kept saying "Rikkun, holy crap, holy crap" when he was supposed to change the baby's diaper, didn't he >< lol
Tsumugi: But I must admit Riku-san's "I feel like they used to do this to me a lot" when he was being taught what to do if the baby's temperature went up had me a bit nervous ><
Iori: Right? And Yotsuba-san has achieved the title of Most Desired Embrace No.5. If his image falters even a little bit, it'll all go to waste. Since Nanase-san is always a chatterbox, I don't think he stood out too much...
Tsumugi: I see...
Iori: Although Rokuya-san seems like he'd be the most risky of all of us, he's even handling his solo jobs surprisingly flawlessly.
Tsumugi: That's right! He's from North Europe, so he was chosen to narrate a program that features North Europe, and since his pronounciation becomes good when he talks slowly, that nice gap will bring him more fans.
Iori: You're talking about that thing they call gap moe, right. I've heard my classmates talk about it, but I've yet to see its appeal.
Iori: Also, I'm relieved that Nii-san, Nikaido-san, and Osaka-san are stable as ever. Their responses to comments and the like are in check, so I'd like to gather everyone together once before the award ceremony to discuss this subject.
Tsumugi: As expected, you've thought of everything ><
Iori: Please join us, too.
Tsumugi: U-understood..!

Iori Izumi MemoMelo Rabbit Chat Part 5: The Future In His Hands
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
Tsumugi: Iori-san, good work with the award ceremony! Re:vale were there as guests due to getting into the Hall of Fame, so you got to be in the commemorative photo with both them and TRIGGER. It reminded me of the grand re-opening, and made me happy.
Iori: Good work, manager. It was a very lively ceremony.
Iori: Yamato-san accepted the award and gave a comment as our leader and representative, which I think he pulled off quite well.
Tsumugi: Yamato-san was very cool! "I didn't think a precious gem like sapphire would suit us. However, I'm proud of the fact that the individual abilities of all seven of us have gotten us this far"!
Iori: Nikaido-san finally included himself in talking about how happy we were.
Iori: I don't know if he was moved by that, but Nii-san got a bit teary.
Tsumugi: He's always talked as if he was just a little bit separate from the rest of you before, after all...
Tsumugi: Riku-san started crying after Yamato-san's comment.
Tsumugi: And you looked very happy, too!
Iori: Nevermind me! I can't believe Nanase-san cried again. I'll have to tell him something later.
Iori: "Which one of us is the real crybaby?", that is.
Tsumugi: Did you fight again? ><
Iori: We did not. He started throwing accusations at me on his own. It's as if he can't stand me.
Tsumugi: Why would you think that!? >< There's no way that's true. The two of you get along fine!
Iori: I think Nanase-san prefers tolerant people like Osaka-san.
Tsumugi: Please tell me what happened...
Iori: After we returned to the dorm, he bought a large amount of sweets even though he'll be unable to finish them and just end up giving them to Yotsuba-san. Here's what he had to say for himself. "When something good happens, it makes me want to stay up late and eat sweets afterwards"
Tsumugi: I can totally understand the feeling..!
Iori: Don't you start, too. He bought a large amount of some mystery powder that turns into a rainbow-colored mystery goo when you mix it with water, you know? That's just foolish.
Iori: When I told Nanase-san that I didn't want him to waste his money in large quantities just because he found a new type of candy, he spat out a "Stupid Iori! You're just a crybaby, anyways!" and locked himself in his room.
Iori: I wonder which one of us is being stupid here.
Choices/outcomes:
1. I'm sure he wanted to eat together with you!
Iori: Why would you think that? I don't eat those sort of sweets.
2. You shouldn't fight right after your big award ceremony!
Iori: I think so, too. I am currently reflecting on my actions...
3. How are you going to make up with him?
Iori: I wonder. I think he'll act as if nothing happened tomorrow.
Tsumugi: Please make up by tomorrow ><
Tsumugi: You'll be dining together with Re:vale and TRIGGER..!
Iori: I know that. We can't display this kind of shameful behavior in front of Kujo-san.
Tsumugi: I'm counting on you..!
Tsumugi: By the way, I was thinking of publishing winners' comments from all of you on the website. May I please have a few words from you?
Iori: Alright.
Iori: Everyone, thank you for all your congratulatory messages. The song that aided our victory, "MEMORiES MELODiES", has a set of lyrics that goes "I want to shine more in the future we're holding on to".
Iori: As those lyrics say, aim for an even more shining future. We'll make sure to win the Diamond Award some day.

Iori Izumi MemoMelo Rabbit Chat Part 4: Waiting For The Awards
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 5
Iori: Manager, the Diamond Disk award ceremony is tomorrow, there haven't been any changes to the schedule, have there?
Tsumugi: Iori-san, good work. Tomorrow should proceed as planned, like we discussed earlier!
Iori: Understood. Thank you very much.
Tsumugi: Iori-san, were you a bit restless today..?
Iori: So even you're asking that from me. Nanase-san said the same thing.
Tsumugi: I was just wondering if you were nervous before the award ceremony ><
Tsumugi: Since you even called Yamato-san "Nii-san" by accident...
Iori: Quiet!! Don't remind me of that!!
Tsumugi: I'm sorry, I couldn’t help asking..!
Iori: Now I understand how people who call their teacher "mom" by mistake must feel...
Tsumugi: But, that just means you're very happy to receive the Sapphire Award!
Iori: Right. Thinking back to the day of our audition, it's very moving.
Tsumugi: Your audition..!
Choices/outcomes: 1. How did you feel about auditioning? Iori: How I felt... I believe all I was thinking about that day was Nii-san... 2. Was there anything memorable about your audition? Iori: The fact that you decided not to drop any of us out. I believe I already told you this back then, but I felt like I could trust you. 3. Which member left the biggest impression on you at the audition? Iori: Nanase-san, maybe. I thought his naive demeanor (1) was unusual, but I felt like I couldn't take my eyes off him.
Iori: I just happened to start reminiscing about the past, but after the award ceremony ends tomorrow, let's only think of our future. So that one day, we can win the grand prize just like TRIGGER did.
Tsumugi: Alright. I'll try to stop looking at the Diamond Disk winner list with a wide grin soon..!
Iori: You were still looking at it!?
Tsumugi: It just makes me so happy ><
Iori: Good grief, you're beyond help. We'll be accepting that award with our heads held high tomorrow, so you should burn the sight of how big we've grown into your mind instead of some tiny letters on a screen.
Tsumugi: Iori-san, those words you just said struck me deep in the chest... You're absolutely right!
Iori: Yes, I am. Now that you understand that, please hurry up and go to bed for tomorrow already.
Tsumugi: Okay! Good night, Iori-san. I hope tomorrow will be another step forward for IDOLiSH7!

Iori Izumi MemoMelo Rabbit Chat Part 2: Celebration
Part 1 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5
Tsumugi: Iori-san, thank you for inviting me to your Sapphire Award winners' celebration earlier. I'm glad I got to spend the moment of the Diamond Disk announcement with you all!
Iori: Good work, manager. All of us participated in decorating and making the food. Was it to your taste?
Tsumugi: Of course..! It was very delicious. Thank you for the feast!
Iori: The stew you brought was also delicious. I am Japanese, after all, so a stew suits me better than fussing over pizza.
Iori: Yotsuba-san had this bizarre longing towards pizza, so he made some with Nii-san, though...
Tsumugi: Tamaki-san looked very happy. And since Riku-san apparently hasn't eaten pizza very much either, he was pleased to have some!
Tsumugi: The King Pudding we had for dessert was the best!
Iori: That pudding isn't too bad every now and then. But since I see it every day, I never even thought to try it myself...
Tsumugi: It was such a fun time. Yamato-san and Sogo-san had a bit of alcohol and seemed to be enjoying themselves, and Nagi-san and Mitsuki-san were getting emotional over reading all the congratulary messages we'd gotten on social media.
Iori: Yes. Last year, we won the newcomer award at JIMA, and the male idol category of BorW. And this year, we'll be given the Sapphire Award for top male idols at Diamond Disk.
Iori: It was a noisy night. I feel like it's been a long time since I last sat at the dinner table surrounded by everyone else.
Choices/outcomes:
1. The special chocolate fondue you made was also delicious!
Iori: We happened to have the appliances for it at home, so I brought them here. It wasn't too difficult to guess Yotsuba-san and Nanase-san would enjoy such a childish treat. And it seems chocolate can also function as a sort of cough medicine (1).
2. Everyone got very excited during the announcement!
Iori: Rokuya-san was pressing the F5 key on that laptop so much that I thought it would break. That person has too much experience from fighting over Cocona merchandise. The picture of us that they used for the winners' page wasn't bad.
3. Did anything memorable happen at the party?
Iori: When Yotsuba-san was giving Nii-san a ride on his shoulders and they nearly tripped and fell on Nikaido-san, who was lying on the floor, I was really startled. Nanase-san almost collided with them, but was saved by Osaka-san and Rokuya-san.
Iori: And now, I'm at something Rokuya-san has dubbed a "Teenagers' Meet" for some reason. Yotsuba-san and Nanase-san are also at this mysterious event, which seems to exist so we can report our current state to the others as Cocona's soundtrack plays in the background.
Iori: I would've liked to look into TRIGGER's post-BorW promotion strategies right away...
Tsumugi: A Teenagers' Meet! That sounds very fun.
Tsumugi: As we thought, TRIGGER won the grand prize. I'll gather info on that, so please just enjoy your gathering!
Iori: We managed to beat them at BorW somehow, but the fact that they won the grand prize could only be expected. "Leopard Eyes" has simply sold that much, and it's even been used for a car commercial. I wanted to gather info on that, but it doesn't feel like I'll be able to slip out of here. This is the worst.
Iori: It's true that we're weak on the CM front. However, I don't wish to see Osaka-san blame himself for that any longer. I doubt we'll beat TRIGGER unless we make allies in all sorts of industries, and diversify our work.
Iori: If you could research those things for me, I'd like to take you up on the offer.
Tsumugi: Yes. Leave it to me. I'll also look into effective forms of media!
Tsumugi: It's getting late, so please go to bed as soon as you can ><
Iori: Yotsuba-san and Rokuya-san have begun playing a game, so I'd like to return to my room already, but Nanase-san is...
Tsumugi: What's wrong with Riku-san!? Is his condition acting up!?
Iori: No, it's not
Iori: He has fallen asleep, leaning on my shoulder. I can't move...
Tsumugi: Oh! That's a relief!
Iori: It is not a relief *angry* *angry* *angry*
Translator’s notes..?
1) in case you were wondering, this is an actual thing, and studies have found that there’s an ingredient in cocoa called theobromine that helps suppress coughing even more effectively than certain cough medicines
Yamato Nikaido MemoMelo Rabbit Chat Part 5: The Future In His Hands
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
Tsumugi: Yamato-san, good work with your award ceremony! You have a dinner party with Re:vale and TRIGGER tomorrow, so make sure to get some rest.
Yamato: Good job, manager. This Onii-san's exhausted. I nearly developed a fear of people up there
Tsumugi: It was such a big ceremony that there were many people from the music industry there..!
Tsumugi: It seems there was someone who knew you amongst them, was it alright for you to not talk to them..?
Yamato: Ah, it's fine. We're not friends or anything.
Tsumugi: I see. I didn't know that person, so I thought it was someone you hadn't worked with before...
Yamato: Well, they're just an acquaintance. Don't worry about it.
Yamato: C'mon, today's a happy day. Let's talk happy things.
Tsumugi: You're right ><
Yamato: Wasn't my speech cool?
Tsumugi: It was very cool! I think that was the first time you've included yourself when saying all of you were happy about something.
Yamato: Included myself?
Tsumugi: You're always saying "them", or "you guys", as if you don't exist.
Tsumugi: That's why the fact that you said "I didn't think a precious gem like sapphire would suit us. However, I'm proud of the fact that the individual abilities of all seven of us have gotten us this far" made me very happy.
Yamato: So that's been bothering you. I haven't been saying it consciously. You worry too much.
Tsumugi: I think I'm not the only one who sees it that way.
Choices/outcomes:
1. Mitsuki-san nearly burst into tears.
Yamato: For real? Mitsu nearly cried because of it? When I got off the stage, he slapped me on the back really hard, was it because of that?
2. Riku-san cried a little bit.
Yamato: Riku's so pure and honest. I do think I shouldn't make him worry too much because of that. Plus, Ichi's scary (lol)
3. All of them were very happy.
Yamato: Was that the reason Nagi and Tama crushed me with a bear hug once I got off the stage..? Even Sou was tugging at my shirt apologetically (lol)
Yamato: From now on, I'll watch what I say...
Tsumugi: I didn't say it with that in mind, so you don't have to be on guard, I'd just like for you to remember how happy it made me!
Yamato: Got it.
Yamato: Thanks.
Tsumugi: What are you saying? I should be the one thanking you!!
Tsumugi: There's no doubt that your leadership skills are what got us this far. I'm so grateful to you for always supporting us.
Yamato: It's embrassing to keep hearing that... You should refrain from rousing the elderly up too much (lol)
Tsumugi: Did that rouse you up, lol
Tsumugi: Well then, I have one last task for you.
Tsumugi: I'm thinking of publishing winners' comments from all of you about the song "MEMORiES MELODiES", on the website. May I ask you for your thoughts on it once again?
Yamato: Roger.
Yamato: In the lyrics, there's a part that goes "You can't create perfection", right. We're not perfect. I want you to keep cheering on the IDOLiSH7 that exists because of the support from all 7 of us, as well as our fans. I'll be counting on you.
Translator’s notes..?

Yamato Nikaido MemoMelo Rabbit Chat Part 1: Diamond Disk
Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5
Tsumugi: Yamato-san, good work. I have amazing news for you today!
Yamato: Good job, manager. Amazing news?
Tsumugi: The Diamond Disk award commitee just let me know that IDOLiSH7 has won the "Sapphire Award", for male idols!
Tsumugi: Diamond Disk is an award ceremony focused on idols, and a part of the big four that make up JIMA. This is an incredible thing..!
Yamato: Oh, Diamond Disk was the one that's letting Re:vale into their Hall of Fame, right. That's pretty amazing.
Tsumugi: That's right! The awards Diamond Disk gives out are "Diamond", the grand prize, "Ruby" for top female idols, "Sapphire" for top male idols, "Emerald" for songs, and "Amethyst" for newcomers.
Tsumugi: And we have won Sapphire! How moving..!
Yamato: It's hard to believe. Why'd they give us an award at a time like this?
Tsumugi: Diamond Disk winners are chosen based on their success in various types of music-related media. Partially thanks to BorW, "MEMORiES MELODiES" has been a on the charts for a long time, which most likely helped you win!
Yamato: I see. Feels like it's been forever since we sang that song on stage. This is happy news, you should pamper the others a lot for all their hard work.
Tsumugi: You worked hard as their leader, too! I plan to celebrate each and every one of you.
Yamato: You don't have to bother with this Onii-san (lol)
Tsumugi: I'll do the best I can for you!
Yamato: Huh. Celebrations aren't really in my nature, though...
Tsumugi: You don't think it's appropriate?
Yamato: No. I'm already an adult, so you should plan something with Mitsu instead. He likes this sort of stuff.
Tsumugi: Adults only act like it when it's convenient for them, don't they ><
Yamato: Well, you're not wrong. You're being pretty hard on me right now, Tsumugi-chan
Tsumugi: I'm just sad that you're acting so withdrawn...
Yamato: Fine... I'm weak against cute managers.
Yamato: When are they announcing the Diamond Disk winners?
Tsumugi: The results will be published online on the 10th. You will be able to find out the rest of the winners there.
Yamato: So, we can find out how TRIGGER did on that day. I'm pretty sure they got the grand prize, though
Tsumugi: Yes, I think so too. "Leopard Eyes" has also been a hit for a long time...
Yamato: Whatever, it's not like we know for sure yet! I'm really glad we got Sapphire.
Yamato: We'll probably be busy once the results are out, but I don’t think I’ll be giving it my best (lol) I'll leave work to the others.
Tsumugi: There will be an award ceremony, so I'm going to need you to say a few words as our representative there!
Yamato: Whaaaat
Tsumugi: You're the leader, after all ><
Yamato:
Translator’s notes..?
i think i may have called it the ‘sapphire prize’ in previous memomelo chats but i changed it to ‘sapphire award’ because it sounds better
