We install security monitor like McAfee to enhance the performance of your PC by removing malwares but sometimes McAfee itself starts consuming a lot if memory…
You can configure the memory usage of McAfee antivirus by changing the setting of your operating system. This PPT gives you detail information on how you can limit the amount of memory used by McAfee.
Today, I would be explaining how to build a desktop quiz application using Electron and Vue.js. Vue.js is a library for building interactive web...
Thanks, I'm sure many folks will find this article very helpful. However, you should also mention that Electron is a memory hog of epic proportions. We all know Chrome consumes resources like there's no tomorrow. Now imagine running a separate instance of Chrome for every Electron desktop app. It's not unheard of to have a simple Hello World app use 200 MB of RAM and take five seconds to load.
In all fairness, this doesn't just apply to Electron, but all things that rely on a browser engine to power a desktop app.
Hopefully, the next version of Electron should take care of memory issues.
The next alternative would have been to use skitter, but thats a whole lot of work with its bindings
I've been waiting for something that combines the Blink or Rust rendering engine, V8 JS interpreter, Node.js's file system API, and the lightweight of a compiled AutoHotkey script. Probably wishful thinking...
Alternatively, i might be doing a tutorial with python bindings for html css and javascript, consumes less memory.
Awesome, I can't wait. I know Python is very capable from my fork of Enso Portable (e.g., the rendering of the info overlay).
If you don't mind, you could suggest an idea of what I should build.
I think the Sublime Text people did a really good job with Python. If you are interested in making a Lua desktop app, then check out Textadept, made by one brilliant person.
