I have this unfinished sketch of them, and then my new style of Toriel from the drawing frames of this.

Honestly the biggest change was Toriel’s horns and face for my overall style of her. Sans tends to stay mostly constant in my styles of him.

Which one are you the most proud of to create?

This ask has been sitting in my inbox for almost a year (since the 100 follower event that I never finished—)

So I figured I’d answer it, even if I don’t have a drawing to do so like I’d hoped. To the anon who sent this, I’m very sorry to have not answered for so long.

While I’ve put a LOT of effort into Soultale, and I’m proud of it as being my first and most popular AU, it’s not actually my favorite.

The one that I genuinely feel the most proud of would be Arcanetale. I’ve had to adjust a couple of elements to it recently ofc, but the story in itself and the designs are something I’m proud of, and I feel like I don’t talk enough about it.

I also have an old ask from one of my moots that I’d gotten during the 100 follower event that I want to answer soon as well. I’ll do a drawing for that one though, as I think it’ll be a better way to talk about some more of the lore of it.

Ok, I recently found out that you are proud of your au arcanetale and have changed something, may I know about these changes?

Oof… figured this’d come sooner or later. Might as well get it over with :p

So the majority of my earlier followers will know this, but for a long time, I was a Frans shipper. I DO NOT SHIP IT ANYMORE!!!

I have a neutral view on Frans (as I don’t condone harassment), and understand the views and opinions of both sides concerning the ship.

I figured I’d go ahead and say the entire reasoning before someone decided to accuse me of shipping a p3dophilic ship or twist the entire situation into something it wasn’t.

In short, I had shipped it back when it was very popular, only to leave the fandom before it was deemed as a problematic ship, then come back being very confused about the entire thing. I essentially tried defending it for a long time, obviously not because I thought it was okay to ship a child with an adult (you guys should know by now, I find that absolutely disgusting). I had different views on the ship and the way Frisk could be interpreted (often portraying them as myself in a way rather than using a self insert). I’d always had Sans and Frisk as adults and/or very close in age.

I finally stopped shipping it because of all of the problems surrounding it, and I was just tired of dealing with it all the time.

Arcanetale had Frans as canon. The change I made was making it not so.

I plan on having their “relationship” be the way @/8thekat portrays Sans and Frisk in her comic Seventh Soul. It is completely up to the reader’s interpretation. But in the AU itself, they simply become very close friends.

Any of my AUs that had Frans as canon are not that way now. I always wanted the AUs’ story to be more important than the ships involved anyway. I’d never want a ship to detract from the story itself, especially since I try so hard to have good lore for my AUs.

So if I lose followers or friends over this, I’ll be sad to see you go, but I’ll move on. Again, I don’t ship it anymore, and honestly kinda wished I’d just stuck with Soriel and selfshipping to begin with (would’ve made my life a hell of a lot easier).

I still have friends in the Frans community (I can assure you, they find p3dophilia disgusting as well), and I have friends who don’t agree with the ship but respected my views because they knew I wasn’t a creep.

I do hope I’ll still be able to call all of you my friends because, honestly, the thing that genuinely made my decision final was dealing with the Bastil situation. I’d already essentially stopped shipping Frans at that point, but the entire thing made me realize that I never wanted any of my friends on here or in my community to even feel a fraction of the disgust we all had towards Bastil, especially since I’d worked so hard to protect you all and call him out.
