Before Blaster and I fell apart, he would often let me keep him company- we’d talk about the music and things we remembered, or play silly games on the consoles that he’d found....
It was nice.

Memories | (open) 💙- A sad memory that makes them cry
You cut your wings the day you cut off those beautiful silvery locks of yours. You sobbed tears as the hair fell to the ground, never to be on your head again. You hated yourself. It was the lowest time in your life, yet somehow you felt free. All that weight had been lifted off your chest. You found yourself grinning wildly into the mirror because you knew it could grow back, it was only hair after all.

Past experiences help shape who we are currently, how we see the world. Send in a symbol and I’ll write a drabble of one of my muse’s memories.
✍ - a memory of their mother
“Do I really have to do this mother, I don’t want to. You didn’t even ask if I was okay with this!” The young girl was practically yelling over just having been told that her parents had found her a husband. Or to be more correct, someone had paid her parents to make her their bride. It wasn’t anything uncommon in the world of higher class what with their obsession with keeping the rich rich. She had always been against the practice but what came as a shock was the fact that neither her nor either of her parents knew this man very well. He was practically a stranger to the majority of their friends with only whispering about shady activity and only ever appearing once the sun had set. Hyolyn just assumed he was one of those men that kept to themselves but it was nothing that could diminish how hurt she was over her parents essentially selling her off for their own gain. “You cannot do this, mother! I am not property to be sold and traded to strangers.” Tears stung deep brown eyes as she tried so desperately to make them take back what they had done. She was no more than seventeen at the time which was apparently the perfect age to find a husband and what with Hyolyn’s obvious distaste for men her parents took it upon themselves to find one for her. She would have been happy to be left on her own with her pets but it seemed as though her parents had other ideas and the man in question had paid an obscene amount to have her.
At some point those stinging tears had found their way onto her cheeks, rolling down purely from her own frustration with her parents. “It is for the good of the family, we need this money.” was all she ever got in response and no matter how much she fought against them it never seemed to change their mind. There was always the option of running away but for someone like her, there wasn’t much waiting for her out in that world. She would be taken advantage of so quickly and she knew it was safer to do as her mother and father wanted, even if she wasn’t going to like it.

Memory Meme:
✈ - an eye-opening memory
[谷] - Rage. In that moment he saw the world through a crimson lens. Beyond any thought, feeling or compassion. There was no other option. Fiery amethyst eyes narrow as he grits his teeth, his hand gripping the hilt of his katana. A guttural growl escapes his lips as his katana buries itself deep into the other’s chest. He pushes the blade deeper into the chest cavity, cold amethyst hues boring into the other’s. “You will never touch her again.”
He pulls his gore slicked blade out of the skewered body, as it continues to imbrue the area with crimson splatters, even the walls are painted with the sanguinary array. He stands in silence, his chest heaving with each breath, as a satisfied grin spreads across his features. “A-A-Anikki?” a trembling voice calling to him snaps him out of his rage.
He whips in the direction of the voice to see Mitsuki, his younger sister trembling in the corner, her violet hues widened. Was that fear he saw in her eyes? Never would he have thought that he was capable of frightening his sister. The way she looked at him was different, she no longer saw her loving brother. Before her she saw a blood-thirsty beast.
He drops his katana, still painted slick with blood, to the ground. “Mitsuki… I…” There were no words he could explain to her to make things better. She finally saw him for what he was. He swore never to let his emotions and rage take him ever again.
Jeanne is curious about Mei's relationship with Ho-oh and job as a dancer and is looking for a memory based on that.

"It was just a few weeks after I entered boot camp. The instructor called me out and told me that I was going to fight one of the other recruits, an older kid named Wilcox. Wilcox was at least twice my size and had a reputation as one of the best fighters in his group. Me, I was just another recruit, Nothing special. So when stepped into the ring I was sure that I was going to get pounded. But something happened, maybe it was something the drill instructor said, or maybe Wilcox made some jab at me before we started. Whatever it was, when we squared off, I knew that I wasn’t going to go down without a fight."
"And I didn’t. The guy knocked me on my ass, but not before I broke his nose and almost dislocated his shoulder. Afterword the instructor took me aside and told me that I had talent. He said that I would be a great soldier one day. It was one of the few times someone has shown faith in me."

"Rachael Williams. It was my Junior year in high school. She was the head cheerleader and a gymnast. Very flexible.”
Send - for a bad memory my muse has.
"It was my third month out in Afghanistan. Me and a buddy of mine were pinned down by some enemy insurgents. We were taking some heavy fire and find any good escape route. Tripp, my buddy, took a bad hit and was bleeding pretty bad. I tried calling over the comms for help, but by the time reinforcements got there, Tripp was dead."
"That bullet. The bullet that killed my friend, it was supposed to hit me. It should have killed me! Tripp had a family back home, a girlfriend. He had life waiting for him. Me? I’ve got no one, no family, no friends, no future. If I was gone no one would miss me, and I don’t blame them.”
I guess we are kinda-sorta friends, oh and I always catch you in a bad mood if that helps at all.
W-We-Well I won't lie... Lie about the bad moo-mood thing... That is fairly common as of late... Kinda-sorta friends? I-I can d-deal with that.
