On one hand it was a chance to see Lauriam’s skills with a sword, on the other? The grip on the sword tighten with both hands, as she rushed at the wielder with a low growl. A combination of an overhead and upper diagonal slashes following through with a forward thrust of her sword.
Mm, seemed someone had some feelings to work out through this little exercise. A thinner blade for himself, one light and easy to roll over his fingers as he worked out his grip.
How long had it been since he held a sword?
But no time to give him to think, the rush met with a fluid misdirection; meeting her overhead slash and letting it drag along his sword and slide away, the sliding scream of metal no deterrent as he made very minimal movements to slightly redirect her blows, each one coming with a hair’s breadth of his form as they slipped down towards the ground.
The thrust, however, was not a simple maneuver to slip away from. Back foot suddenly kicking into the ground as he used the momentum to meet her blade halfway, a twist of his form and the cut of his blade against hers enough to bring it far outside the realm of danger; piercing to the left of where he now stood as his own blade forced it further away, before pushing back and getting a few feet of distance; a swipe of his sword before holding it leisurely in his hand at his side, point offered towards the ground, though a closer look would see it point towards her feet.
“Ah, a technical type. But undertones of power...and yet, the hints of agility. You’ve really made all forms your own, haven’t you?”

A soft chuckle escaped the taller girl before hugging back Xion. Alex proposed the idea since she had to buy one herself. School making her busy since she was graduating really soon. The chesnut haired girl won't let her out if it's not fitting her. She was pretty sure that someone wouldn't be pleased to know that.
"You're welcome! Lucky I had to buy one myself, because hearing the word color.. It won't do. I'll make you the prettiest bride. ~ I'm not letting you buy something that won't look good on you."

It had been several days since Jack had an encounter with a black haired girl he had saved from the ruffians that plagued the Aku infested timeline. He was a loner, refusing to keep people close as he felt danger would always be around him, people will die.
The samurai currently rest near a camp fire, eating a boar he had hunted, his large weaponized motorcycle parked behind him as he leaned against it.
He stared at the flames for a time, reflecting and thinking on what to do. The weight of his guilt was becoming too much but he kept pushing. Suddenly the air grew cold, a green mist surrounded him, prompting the samurai to stand up.
He turned and shifted, seeing no one till suddenly before was a towering horseman in feudal Japan armor. Jack's eyes widened, sweat coming down his face, as he saw a large spear coming down to strike. This prompted Jack to draw out a revolver to shoot, but just as he pulled the trigger and the gun shot echoed there was nothing. The air was normal and he was alone. He then heard real footsteps and turned to the source, gun pointed at whoever was entering.
