FIRST REVIEW! I thought I’d start off with my favourite Lush product at the moment: Kalamazoo Beard and Facial Wash!

This is what Lush say about it:

'Keep things bright and bushy with this creamy wash for furry faces. Fresh pineapple juice is full of enzymes to cleanse the skin and zap away dirt, whilst almond oil, jojoba oil and cupuaçu butter will leave your beard soft and strokeable. Simply scoop some out of the pot and massage onto your beard and face, rinse off and pat dry.'

First of all, let me say that’s it’s definitely more than just a beard wash. As with most of Lush’s products, it’s gender neutral. Lush says that you don’t need a beard, but it helps! Most of the time I have stubbly facial hair, it’s too thick to try and grow out a beard! It makes my stubble much less prickly and keeps the skin around the hair healthy and keeps the spots/irritation away! I used to find that as my stubble grew longer it would get itchy but Kalamazoo keeps that under control too! I use it all the time because it smells so beautiful and feels so good!

The scent is very fruity and fresh. The pineapple is very strong and to be honest, brightens up my day whenever I smell it. I’m one of these weirdos that opens a tub of something just to sit it under my nose for a while! In the morning this is the perfect way to wake your face and mind up as you leave the house feeling refreshed, even if it’s 7 in the morning!

I have big pores on my nose and it drives me crazy, I find that it helps to close them and not clog them up either! Helps keep those pesky blackheads away! I have oily skin, especially during the summer months and this keeps it under control and gives me essential moisturising too! Don’t forget that even oily skin needs moisturising!

The texture is really soft and creamy, reminds me of a lovely smooth clotted cream. Yummmmmm! It’s economical too as you don’t need much, although I use loads because it’s more of the irresistible smell!

Basically, I love it and you should try it! It’s completely unisex in my opinion and not too expensive! £6.50 for 110g and £12 for 240g
