Turns out the man disappeared to do drugs in the bathroom and overdosed. Vicente freaked out, everyone else were either voyeuristic or acted like it was bound to happen.
Only solidifying further, death is an inescapable destructive and all around terrifying force.
😡 What would someone have to make them lash out in violent anger?
Make Vicente feel backed into a corner in which he is incapable of talking you down or back under his control. Once you have situated yourself as someone both beyond his persuasion and a possible threat to whatever his goal is violence becomes the last resort. To date the most violent thing he’s ever done in anger was the moment in the car with his partner and that reaction was pure impulsiveness and irrationality brought on by the idea that he could not talk his partner into staying. More so his partner had pointed out a very big insecurity of his and in doing so, in Vicente’s eyes, had taken the upper hand in the conversation. It was impossible for him to think of a verbal response that wasn’t just conceding to the other, and he refuses to do that.
It’s not something he gives into often, lashing out in violent anger is harder to write off or justify and reduces an opportunity for recovery.

No, because it implies that someone could push Vicente to do something against his morals and he refuses to believe that anyone can have that kind of power over him. anything “corruptible” Vicente does is always rooted in believing the action is for the greater good of his ambitions.
