⚠️ Warning: Most Dangerous Buildings During a Tornado 🇺🇸

🌪️ During a tornado, some of the most dangerous commercial buildings to shelter in are large warehouses and big-box stores with open floor plans and few internal walls. This includes large supermarkets, distribution centers, and metal building structures (MBS).

🏢 These buildings often have massive roofs and wide spans without internal partitions. In strong winds, the structure can quickly lose stability, greatly increasing the risk of collapse.

📷 The photo shows severe damage to the Menards store in Three Rivers, Michigan, caused by a tornado on March 6.

⚠️ In past years, tornadoes have caused serious damage to buildings such as the Mayfield Candle Factory, Amazon distribution centers, and Wrangler manufacturing plants.

📌 During a tornado threat, it is recommended to take shelter in sturdy buildings with internal rooms on lower floors, away from windows and large open spaces.
