Any of you remember going here?
Menchie’s, 3808 W Verdugo Ave, Burbank, CA 91505
Fro-yo girl here. Menchie’s moved within the same shopping center and opened at the new spot on February 11, 2023. It took over a year for the build out. They built it themselves and kept the tiled wall and other elements of the previous location. The shop looks great – cute and cheerful with lots of images of Menchie and his friends, the green circular tile wall, and Menchie’s green and pink all over.
There are 14 self-serve flavors a day. Froyo and toppings are $0.65/oz. They also have froyo cakes and sell some Menchie’s merchandise. Sample cups were left out on a big circular tray. I didn’t see any waffle bowls (many Menchie’s locations make waffle bowls). They have sauces (chocolate shell), candy, cookies, cereal, coconut, fruit, cheesecake, nuts, chocolate chips, marshmallows, popping boba, etc.
Froyo flavors of the day:
Low carb German chocolate cake
I dream of cookies & cream
Creamy peanut butter: creamy and smooth, lots of pb flavor
Cold brew coffee
Dole pineapple
Dreamy dulce de leche
Live from NY cheesecake
NSA strawberry
Original tart
Pure chocolate
Takes the cake batter
Vanilla snow
Vegan mint chocolate chip: not bad, tasted like mint chocolate chip, dark brown in color, not too icy but not as creamy as regular froyo

This is definitely one of the better Menchie’s locations. The texture of the yogurt is better. They actually update their flavors (you can see them on the Menchie’s website and app). Service is better too. There are a few tables inside and a nice outdoor patio. Sign up for the rewards program and earn $5 in Menchie’s money when you collect 50 smiles.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

I did this for school
There used to be a Pinkberry in Cupertino I think. There also used to be one in Davis. There’s a Pinkadot in downtown Davis which for three years I assumed was also frozen yogurt until one day I looked in and realized it’s a small shop that sells women’s clothing.
Menchie’s, 13595 Whittier Blvd, Ste 101, Whittier, CA 90605
Fro-yo girl here. The last time I went to this location last year, it was a Frugos. Menchie’s replaced Frugos late last year. They gave it a Menchie’s makeover but the layout is the same as it was and I think they kept the old Taylor soft serve machines.
There are 10 self-serve froyo flavors a day (less than most Menchie’s locations), toppings (fruit, popping boba, cheesecake, candy, nuts, cereal, cookies, marshmallows) and sauces for 53 cents an ounce. I was surprised they allowed people to get their own toppings since other froyo shops don’t unless the toppings are pre-packaged. You could get your own froyo too, if you wore a glove (provided) or used a napkin to touch the handles. I noticed the soft serve machines hadn’t been cleaned in almost two months!
I didn’t ask for sample cups because of the coronavirus. Shops are not supposed to offer them.
Froyo flavors of the day:
Creamy country vanilla: good but it melted quickly, sweet, creamy, a bit soft
Milk chocolate mania
Cookies & cream
Freshly shredded coconut
Pineapple Dole whip
NSA strawberry
Original tart
Takes the cake batter
Iced coffee
Toasty marshmallow
Froyo cakes are available, including custom cakes. They also had prepacked froyo cups and frozen novelties. Menchie’s seemed a little cleaner than Frugos. Frugos had sticky floors. Even so, this Menchie’s doesn’t seem as well maintained as other locations. I noticed they didn’t have any of the current featured flavors but they did have the limited edition Sprinkle spoons and Scoob cups. Join My Smileage to earn points towards free froyo.

Menchie’s, 3104 Crow Canyon Pl Suite B, San Ramon, CA 94583
Fro-yo girl here. This spot brings back so many memories. It was the home of the first Pinkberry in the Tri-Valley from 2010 – 2015. Menchie’s took over the small space in 2016, so it turns 10 this year. It still looks very cute and cheerful with bright walls and images of Menchie and his friends.
This location has 12 self-serve froyo flavors a day and lots of toppings and sauces for $0.81/oz. Toppings included fresh fruit, cookie dough, jellies, popping boba, sauces, honey, mochi, candy, nuts, cookies, graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips, coconut, granola, etc.
However, during my visit, they were cleaning one machine (couldn’t they do that before the store opens or after), so they only had 10 flavors. Unfortunately, there were no tart flavors during my visit. On the other hand, they did have the featured flavors of the month and the new Monster Hunter Stories 3 cups.
Froyo flavors of the day:
Vanilla snow
Milk chocolate mania
Dole pineapple
Sweet white peach sorbet: on the icy side, not very smooth, strong white peach flavor, tasted a bit too candy like and sweet though it’s made with no artificial flavors
Chocolate cake batter made with Hershey’s chocolate
I dream of cookies n’ cream: good, creamy, not too chocolatey
New York cheesecake
Dulce de leche
Banana pudding made with Nilla wafers
Colombian Supremo coffee, Carbolite (low carb): super thick and creamy, but a tad gritty
Samples are dispensed by the employees. This location also offers acai bowls, froyo floats, froyo cakes, and cold bottled beverages. And they sell Menchie’s merch.
The drip trays were dirty. Parking was easy to find. There is rewards program (you need to use the Menchie’s app).

I...am in trouble.
I absolutely adore frozen yoghurt, and would gladly go through my own mother to get some.
My favourite flavour of candy has and always will be sour blue raspberry.
There is a 'Menchie's Frozen Yoghurt' within walking distance of my work.
They have sour blue raspberry frozen yoghurt.
It is NOT cheap.
I possess the dangerous combination of some disposable income with no willpower.
Please send thoughts and prayers for my poor (soon to be destitute...) bank account.
