Actually been doing a lot of mending recently. Some mending in process photos. Im using the beautiful threads from @notanotherhat to build the fabric back up. It is a slow, slow process. Swipe to see the original massive tear on the elbow and you can also see my bad repair from years before ( from when I knew so much less) which actually weakened the fabric more. This shirt is one of my husband's favorite. I just sure wish he'd given it to me sooner. Recent mending. Two types. On the left, i was extensively playing around with my little handloom and in the right, all by hand I must say...
