The Self-Sourced Mendel90 #1.1: (Update) Official frame get!
Just got an email back from nop head and I was able to get one of his last five frames! Now I am back to being relatively broke, but what 20-something student isn’t broke, right? Plus, I have some modifications I want to make to some of the parts, so I will spend the next few weeks systematically going through them all and making the necessary adjustments. Pictures with my first mods in a few days!
The Self-Sourced Mendel90 #1: Retire In Peace, Nop Head
I have heard many a great thing about the Mendel90 and I have been wanting to upgrade my Prusa Mendel into one for a few months now. However, much to my dismay nop head has stopped selling official kits so, after four years in this hobby, I am finally making my first self-sourced 3D printer. Fortunately nop has some leftover frames, so I have sent a request to purchase one. If I could get one of these frames, my life would be much easier. If not, I will make due. More updates when I hear back from nop.
