i mean it was just a cameo and it was done pretty well without ruining anything else about lucifer so i actually enjoyed it

i’m sure it was a very cute cameo and the actors seemed like they had a lot of fun, but it doesn’t change my opinion that I think making Lucifer a single earth in the span of a multiverse cheapens the narrative enormity of Lucifer's story

i’ll be your real tough cookie with the whiskey breath (dianetti):

motorcycle riding, gun toting, bartender of a mellow watering hole in downtown brooklyn rosa diaz is incensed when she finds out the lot next door is about to become a homemade bakery, after the old owner sold the place 

this new bakery is sweet, spice, and everything seemingly nice, and that just really messes w the vibe of this neighborhood

where nobody is nice, and spices make you cry as its rubbed into your eyes. occasionally by rosa, mostly by other people because this neighborhood is filled with the crudest people who don’t care and rosa likes it that way 

discussions with the other business owners in the area leads to a conclusion: this new bakery has got to go, because first its some soft domestic possibly vegan bakery, next it’ll be some quaint cafe, then a tea shop, a flower shop, and god forbid, a library 

rosa is nominated to get this rogue bakery owner to change their mind and move the goddamn hell out

only problem is: when she walks into the bakery she gets overwhelmed by fresh warm smells and a beautiful girl with a sharp tongue to match 

somehow, this girl is a lot less easy to push around, and somehow rosa’s the one walking out the bakery at the end

how did that happen? and did the baker just flirt with her?

rosa’s following multiple attempts to chase gina away results in absolute failures and line up straight into a trap: she falls in love 

as if this isn’t enough of a struggle, her co-conspirators start questioning why she hasn’t (metaphorically) pulled the trigger yet, and why does that bakery still exist?

i’ll be a killer and a thriller and the cause of our death (peraltiago):

amy is a trained assassin from a family of trained assassins

its all she’s known her whole life, in order to be the favorite child, she has to be the best at “the job” 

whether “the job” is ethical or not is of little to no concern to amy; she wasn’t brought up learning morals

amy is careful and precise, and she takes pride in never getting caught

because getting caught means prison and jail time and dying or worse: having her parents be disappointed in her 

the only problem comes in the form of some bright-eyed, too reckless for his own damn good detective. he breaks every rule to find her, and when he catches her, amy realizes she’s going to have to break a few rules too, to save her life and her dignity. and also, her standing in the family

she breaks down when he tells her there’s no where to run, and when his heart softens, she tricks him into thinking that she was forced into a life of killing 

which, well, to be fair, isn’t exactly much of a lie

but the lie comes when she tells jake to save her from this life and to spare her

she thinks this move is so brilliant when he lets her go, but then something strange happens: he actually tries to save her

he starts to look into the organization amy and her family work for, and he actively sympathizes with amy and the way he talks about the ruthlessness of the organization, which extends to her family, which extends to her, it hits home

she begins to hold back, she misses kill after kill, letting them escape if she knows they’re innocent, handing them off to jake if she knows they’re bad eggs 

she develops a righteousness and a sense of justice and she begins to drift further and further from the values she was taught from birth

she fills the emptiness of all this with love, one that grows the more she gets to know jake 

she finds out a sibling of hers has been defecting on kills for the longest time too, and they break down together over not being alone, not the only one in the family who’s beginning to doubt what they do 

she considers running away from this life with jake, but then she struggles with the thought that her siblings too are victims of this flawed and dangerous upbringing, and she knows that there is good in them, the same good that was in her, and she doesn’t know whether to risk it all and save them or to take the easy, happy road out 

but then her disobedience towards the system and the organization is discovered and all her siblings are assigned with the same new mission: terminating her

that one’s tough i mean!!! i had a desk when i was still living with my parents and that’s typically where i wrote 95% of the time but at my new house i don’t have a desk so i’m still trying to find a place where i get the best vibe. right now i’m at our dining room table which is pretty close to what my desk felt like EXCEPT the chair isn’t as comfortable and the actual surface is lower than my desk was which gets distracting when i’m trying to lose myself in writing a scene fhalsdfkahsdlkfj

ok this is actually a snippet from an outline that i’m working on for a wip i’ve yet to actually even start,,,,,because i’m The Worst and i haven’t WRITTEN anything in a month and i forgot HOW (for jurassic world rip sorry if u were hoping for b99)

this is a genuine question and not meant to be rude or anything: why would jeremy jordan be a trigger??

Because if you’re like me, you can’t hear the name Jeremy Jordan without TOTALLY LOOSING IT and spending about about 3 hours on youtube fangirling over his vocals. HE’S PERFECT and it’s VERY CONCERNING. It absolutely triggers me.... in a good way

It’s a joke. (But just to be clear, that doesn’t mean I discredit real trigger warnings about serious things... I use them seriously too)
