This is the Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium.
It is a war memorial dedicated to the British and Commonwealth soldiers who died around Ypres during WWI.
On the white walls you’ll read names. Hundreds and thousands of names. Names of soldiers whose bodies have never been found.
Every evening at 8pm you can hear the Last Post to commemorate the lives lost in Ypres.
If you ever come to Belgium, you should definitely visit this monument.
