There's quite a few reasons why the Zeal rail lock system is my weapon of choice. When you live in a place where the weather seems to change on a dime, its a relief to know that within a few seconds you can have your lens out and swapped with one more suited for the conditions. That means no extra time wasted in the lodge or fidgeting on the chairlift, just slide it in and you're off.
Unlike a lot of the quick change goggles on the market today Zeal's RLS system ensures that your lens stays in place no matter how hard you shred. Whether you're tomahawking halfway down a mountain or stomping a deep landing you can trust your lens is not going anywhere.
My personal favorite attribute to the Rail Lock System is the ability to ventilate quickly and easily. When I'm on the mountain or in the back country I am constantly dealing with over heating. I run on the warmer side and when I begin to hike or exert myself in any way I sweat, and as everyone knows, sweat causes all sorts of issues. Having the ability to slide you're lens off or even just halfway up the frame allows you to dump heat much faster and keeps you on the move!
