I wish people would acknowledge that social anxiety disorder is separate from generalized anxiety disorder. You can have one and not the other.

Update

So.....my phone screen decided not to work anymore so I can’t track my run today. Hopefully I can get it fixed and have it back so I can make up my run tomorrow. It sucks because I am anxious about how much it will cost to fix my phone,but I usually combat my anxiety by running, which I can’t track becasue my phone is broken. The only win for the day is that I finally got a resistance band for my legs and arms so I can start focusing on toning.

My mom has to take me to my psychiatrist appointment today and she is OBVIOUSLY not having a good mental health day. She can sit in the mental health office waiting room and act completely fucking normal but the second we leave, she is so unpredictable. It's moderately disturbing. I am not looking forward to the time that I have to spend with her today. I prefer to conduct our relationship from afar... very, very, very, very, very far.

My father told to me that as an adult I am the same person that  I was a child. Each day I try to acknowledge this pure part of myself that is free of judgment or expectations.
