Mental Health Awareness
(Drawing was from April 7, 2020)
Disclaimer: I am not a professional or an expert when it comes to mental health awareness. I am just putting my thoughts and experiences here.
Was there a moment in your life when people saw you as a person who has a lot of dreams and hopes, or you are just being a ball of sunshine to everyone around you but you are actually full of dark clouds and confusions in the inside?
We have those moments, and there will come to a point that you are emotionally and mentally giving up with all those feelings and thoughts. When you are alone in your room and you just feel like dying you can't breathe, can't move, feeling numb and tears wont stop falling. And you will ask yourself is this normal?
I am not aware of these before, when I heard of anxiety attacks or depression before I thought I understand them not until I experience it my self (anxiety attack). So is it normal? A BIG YES! We are human after all and no matter how you emotionally and mentally strong you are, you are not an exception to be in this kind of situation.
How do I handle my anxiety attacks?
Not everyone will understand you but there are people out there willing to help and listen to you. So don't be afraid to reach out if you needed help. There are community who help people struggling from mental health.
Cry if you needed to, just lay on your bed if you can't move. Just let your emotions flow it will end at some point.
Be aware and know what affects your mental health. If you know the different factors that would affect your mental health, you would know how to cope up better
Don't forget yourself. Always remember that you are valid, your emotions are valid and there are people who love and understands you
We are responsible on our mental health and own happiness, we need to do constant efforts how to improve it and how to keep ourselves happy. Don't be afraid to reach out for help if you need some. ❤️
