Mental Illnesses
Just because you have a mental illness does not mean I will suck up to you and spoil to you and your every needs.
I get really worried about things more the most. I freak out whenever someone pops up behind me, im super scared of loud sounds, even when someone knocks on the door im sometimes too scared to answer. I took a online test before and it says i might have general anxiety but how do i know for sure?? and going to see a therapist is not an option
The only way to know if you truly have a mental illness is to get diagnosed.
Could you go to your doctor honey?
Even if you can't, there are still ways to get and feel better. One of the best ways to cope and learn to manage anxiety is to take baby steps. Baby steps as in, the next time someone knocks, maybe look through the peephole. You don't have to answer, just see who it is.
Or, if someone pops up, taking a deep breath, turning around to them, trying to smile and say hi and say something like, "I would really appreciate it if you wouldn't sneak up behind me?"
Take baby steps. Sometimes closing your eyes, breathing in through your nose, exhaling through your mouth, can really help :)
