Hello! For the OC ask game, would you talk about #7 and #15 for Litsaiwa, and #11 and #31 for Mentelossë, please? <3
Hi !! thank you so much for asking !! And for thinking about Litsaiwa ! I hoped this ask game would help me outline her character better
I never thought about her favorite animal before but since she's a Teleri it makes sense that her favorite animal would be one related to the sea ! At first I thought about puffins !! look at how cute and funky they are ! Just like her
But they are artic birds and Litsaiwa would probably don't know them since she lives near Aqualondë. My hc of Alqualondë is very south east asian inspired + she's a pearl diver so she would be better accustomed to animals from warmer areas. So I think her favorite animal would be the fishes she sees while diving, and clown fishes are perfectly cute and funky animals she would love.
15. how big or small is their family? who did they live with growing up? do they live with anyone now?
She grew up in a large family with a lot of siblings and cousins. She's kind of the chill middle child who no one really paid attention to so she was always free to do as she pleased. Now she lives in her own little house by the sea but still in the same village she grew up in with Lotelissë. This is a tight community centered around pearl diving and fishing and they welcomed Litsaiwa's friend with open arms. This way of life is a huge change for Lotelissë who was used to Tirion and Noldorin court. (yes this is a "city girl finds love in the countryside and learn about true community" kind of love story)
11. what do they have in common with you? how are they different? would you get along with them?
Arf this is a hard question !!
I guess Mentelossë and I have the same perfectionism tendencies, and wishes to be the best possible in as many fields as possible even if I try not to think like that anymore because honestly it's just not possible in real life 😂
We are also both older sisters who feels responsible for others. Big big older sister syndrome for the both of us.
But Mentelossë succeeds most of the time because as I said it's kind of the person I wanted to be when I created her years ago.
As for flaws Mentelossë and I have in common, we're both obstinate and a bit to proud.
And some trivial things: food as a love language and liking blue and yellow
31. do they like receiving gifts? giving gifts? what is their ideal gift?
Mentelossë LOVES receiving gifts ! She definitely likes to be spoiled and gives it in return.
An ideal gift for her depends on the person gifting it to her, depending on their relationship. She likes surprises especially if the gift is a moment like as surprise meal or a music/theater performance and for material objects she will love sugary food, trinkets, jewelry and flowers.
Even if she pretends that they should maybe stop after so long she adores it when Glorfindel surprises her with a new gift <3
