Induction
Customer: Hi Menter I am looking to provide an induction for my staff, about 10 of them, we provide domiciliary care in the community, could you give me any advice?
Menter: Good Morning, yes of course we can help you.
Menter: You have 2 options, we can either provide the induction for you and teach your staff in the subjects you require and repeat this every-time you need us to, this solution is quick and easy to implement.
Menter: Or we can train a member(s) of your own staff up to provide the relevant training to your staff themselves, this will be a more long-term solution however it may take a month or two for your staff to be ready for this.
Customer: Ok that sounds great, what training would you provide for us to train staff?
Menter: We would offer you:
an IOSH accredited manual handling of people train the trainer - which maps to the all wales passport scheme,
a first aid train the trainer - with a first aid at work certificate included,
CIEH level 4 award in managing food safety - Allowing you to train level 2 food safety,
CIEH level 4 award in managing health & safety - allowing you to train level 2 health & safety,
CIEH Level 3 Award in preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector - improving overall teaching and training skills.
Level 3 safeguarding of vulnerable adults - allowing you to train an introduction to safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
For specific health & social care courses such as role of the carer, medication handling and child protection we can train you upon request.
Customer: Brilliant that all sounds amazing, what prices would we be talking about for these courses?
Menter: Our courses are ranged between £300-£570 and we will give you an overall discount of 10%.
Customer: Ok brilliant if you could email me course dates I will put a member of staff on the train the trainer courses as soon as I can. In the meantime can you provide a 6 day induction for our 10 staff on manual handling, first aid, role of the carer, safeguarding of vulnerable adults, dementia awareness, child protection, medication handling, infection control, food safety and health & safety.
Menter: Right not a problem email us which days you wish this to be trained on and we shall go from there.
