My CF is giving me the reins for "The Odyssey" coming up. Do you have any ideas to share for this one? The classes I'm teaching are on-level 9th grade and co-taught 9th grade, so I need activities that make the story work for those skill levels.

Question:

I try to give my kids feedback on everything they turn in. Recently almost all of them have come up to me asking, "What does this say?" I am just now realizing that my freshman kids don't know how to read cursive and now that I'm thinking of it, I realize not a single one of my kids has turned any assignment in written in cursive. Is this common?

First day of my internship tomorrow. I'm going to teacher development in the morning and then meeting at my school site to hopefully meet my clinical faculty in the afternoon. What should I expect during development?
