shang qinghua does everything he can to make meowbei-jun comfortable, but for some reason his king keeps growling at him and he doesn't know how to fix it (mobei-jun is purring, but with his size and demonic nature it sounds like a car engine). mobei-jun keeps trying to escape while shang qinghua is working, and for some reason it only helps if shang qinghua keeps him on his lap and scratches behind his ears.
when mobei-jun does turn back he's in a foul mood. shang qinghua assumes it's because he was a cat for a week and was carried around by his servant like a pet. the actual reason is that he can't fit on shang qinghua's lap anymore.
