A little while ago I decided to start a new tradition; futhering the founder line by a new generation every fire festival (I’m breeding them early so I can breed them again during the festival if their offsprings turn out less than ideal lol). So, Aveil (she will get a new name when I re-write her lore), the first dragon born in my lair and the most motherly dragon in my lair, is on her first nest! She was born in April 2015, so it’s about time ^^

Gave her stained to get something that works with his glimmer :) Her outfit doesn’t work as well on her anymore, so I will re-dress her and find her a new accent at some point :)

She will probably become the new leader of my clan when I get around to writing more lore ^^ This is also the first time I have bred a dragon for lore reasons, I’m excited.

I may have a gen1 addiction. These are the 8 fiery gen1s I’m the most excited about and are the first ones who are going to get their genes (non of them have any of the genes, and non are currently the correct breed)  when I manage to start making some dragon cash again. I have not done the math on the treasure genes yet, but the gem genes alone is going to be 14,3k gems T-T (It’s not my fault facet is the perfect fire secondary and glimmer is such a good tert...). I also have 4 non-fiery gen1s I also want to gene at some point, but most of them is going to have to wait a little while...

I will be very pleased if I can gene at least half of these during the upcoming fire festival. Only 2 of these 8 actually have fire eyes, but they all have eyes that fit them well enough for me to not care.

Anyway, I’m just posting this to motivate myself to start really saving up. I’m pretty good on gems right now and have been saving up almost 10k gems. But I’m pretty low on treasure compared to how much I’m going to need in the end. If I start up a art, adopt or accent shop during the next few months you all know what I’m going to use all the profit for...

I have 25 more gen1s sitting in my lair, so I might try to get rid of some when I get home from holiday in little over a week. I few of them have some genes, but mostly not. Since I have so many I’m never going to get genes for them all, so I might as well try to re-home them. After spending all day looking at all my gen1s and my plans for them, I have realized I don’t need to buy any new ones for a while.

I’m like the slowest at writing lore ever, and now I really want to make a big change that is pretty much a total rework of big parts of the lore. I want to move the lair to an other area, and thanks to us getting lair tabs soon I kinda want to make an extra clan in my lair too. Being 2 different clans in alliance with each other, living really close. The second clan will be a lightning clan, so I think I have to try to get a nice leader for the lightning lair. Heavily debating hatching a few lightning eggs for thundercrack.

Sometimes I go many days in a row with no ideas or motivation to work on my lore, lair and art, and sometimes I get hit by this urge to do All The Things™. It’s very late here now, but hopefully I will spend some time this weekend and next week working on the Things™

I might have gone a little overboard with world building. I have decided on a written language for my dragons. It's not my own invention, it's based on Elian script (Peter Draws has a good video on it), just with a few changes. Might post some stuff with it when I get around to posting the basic sketch of the lair.

After I started seriously trying to figure out my lore, I have realized that I really need to buy renaming scrolls in bulk.

I have a bunch of dragons I don’t like the name of. And I’m terrible at naming dragons. So naming my unnamed + renaming some of my oldies is going to be really difficult.

Ok, I have not been very productive when it comes to grining this festival, but Im bursting with lore ideas and really want to write and draw ^^ First I need to figure out how to because Im really rusty at both drawing and writing. Im just going to have to try and then maybe post something when Im ready to ^^ Im probably going to write my lore as short stories rather than one long thing, and Im most likely going to write it out of order. All the dragons will be described in their bios rather than in every story ^^ I might try to write every store from a dragons point of view, at least when I feel like it's possible/the best way to tell the story. Im really excited :D
