Thursday: ... Am I allowed to say “I’ll be your huckleberry” today? “Belfry Rand” Stetson today. Fun fact: it’s woven hemp.

.... And then I come in to the store alarm being dead, and having to make calls to get someone here to fix it. 

What is with this day? 

I quit. It’s not even noon yet!!!

They’re working on the gasline again.

We haven’t had a single sale.

Meph at Work II

-It’s dead, Jim. A really thick fog rolled in, and I feared we were in the middle of a horror movie. Deep Ones would rise out of the water to rain Lovecraftian terror over our poor souls.

-But we got in more cocktail books. Huzzah! Now we have bribing material for the Deep Ones.

-I just realized the fog is rolling back in after I updated the diary at about 2:17. Uh oh. They know.

^ This is why having a daily store diary to fill out is bad for me on obnoxiously slow days. My poor director will either be amused or reprimand me.
