The Secret of Meeple
(( new fanfic aaa hope you all enjoy,, http://my.w.tt/UiNb/an9bF0OPTE )) I don't remember much about my life, really. Certain memories died faster than they were made. Others longed with me. My memory could only hold so much. I lived for about 4 years. Then I was killed by my later version, 4s. Murdered and shattered coldly beside my brothers. My name is MePhone 2G. I was the first ever MePhone. I remember, the day I was made, I woke up on a stone cold table, met face to face with my creator, the man himself, Steve Cobs. He had a concerning glare on his face as he stared at me, as if I were his child or something. His expression was something I really couldn't explain. The moment I opened my eyes, his frown curved into a big grin and he murmured the words, "It's working." My orange screen lit up brightly, casting an orange shine onto Cobs. He straightened his glasses and looked down at me proudly. Was he proud of me or myself? I never really figured that out. It took me a while to process my current situation. When my brain was able to settle, I sat up and murmured some odd words. My voice was new and I sounded somewhat human. As much as Cobs was concerned, I sounded perfect. I could almost see tears in the man's eyes as he welcomed me. "Welcome to Meeple." That was all I could remember from that day. I was all the rage back then. From what I could hear around the business, I was the first of my kind. But that never mattered back then. To Steve Cobs at least. He was a wonderful man who cared about his creations. But after 4s was made, all that seemed to change. And I could never figure out why. After me came more and more products. The same year I was made, came the MePod Touch. He was pretty caring, but was too self assertive. I liked the IMec, but we rarely talked. I never cared for any of the others, really. Everyone else had their other versions, but I felt like an outcast. Then a year later, came MePhone 3G. And a year after that, MePhone 3Gs was created. I was so happy, nobody could compare to those two because we all acted like brothers. MePhone 3G was very smart and always knew what to say. He would give anything to anyone. His personality was brighter than his yellow screen. 3Gs was something... different. But he was more valuable than we were. I remember going on mini adventures around the headquarters with those two. 3GS was the bravest of all of us. He loved adventure and exploration, and he was very clever, too. We loved him. Obviously, I wasn't the oldest product around the headquarters. There were the 'oldies'; Meeple |, Meeple ||, Disk || and a bunch of others from way back in 1978 and the early 1980s. But they all were back in the storage room, since nobody cared for the old products anymore. None of them functioned either. The one we feared the most was the Mecintosh Classic. Any time we would dare go by him, he'd scold us and tell us how one day they'd be as old and useless as they were. But we never believed him. There were many other old products, it would take too long to name them all. One of my personal favorites, though, was the classic first generation MePod. He was so sweet to me and my brothers. He wasn't very functional, though. Sometimes he would spazz out or start playing static. But he was still kind nonetheless. After him came all the other MePods. All of them were tiny and always jumping off the walls happy to see us. Everyone was wonderful. We all cared for one another, and rarely got into arguments. I remember.. the day the first MePad was made, the three of us learned about another one of us that would be out after nearly two years of being alone. Me, 3G and 3GS were all wandering around the new Meeple headquarters. Steve Cobs had expanded it and made it bigger. We of course, being the curious MePhone's we were, explored the new rooms. The more products that were made, the more room we needed. Steve Cobs was busy creating another touch screen product. But it wasn't a phone this time. It was much larger and smarter. These products were called the MePads. We had been hearing about them for ages. It had started as a small idea, and eventually branched out into a reality. We were doing some of our good ol' adventures when 3G spoke up. "Hey, guys," His yellow screen lit up the dark office we sat in. It was somewhat comforting at the time. "We should go check up on that new MePad thingy. It might be nice." I don't remember why, but at the time we were sitting under the main desk. It was probably because of Inkwell, she worked at the information desk. She was grumpy most the time, so we avoided her a lot. We just never liked to get on her nerves. So we probably just figured we'd hide under the table. "What?" I immediately thought it was a bad idea. But 3GS looked totally down for the idea. "Oh yeah! A new friend never hurt anybody." I noticed a little static in my friends voice, which really worried me. Only recently he fell down from the desk after MePod Nano bumped him off. He didn't seem very okay after that. "Yeah, besides, it's a lot like us, isn't it? It has a touch screen! So we have to welcome this new member to the TST." 3G looked at me with puppy-dog eyes. I couldn't say no to that. Surprisingly, Inkwell didn't seem to mind our whispering. She was too busy typing and muttering to herself to hear our whispers and giggles. We crawled out from under the desk and went back to the main room. It had desks and computers littered everywhere. We knew exactly where Steve Cobs' work room was. It was only down the next hall. So we followed the the path to the hallway and down to the last door on the right. That was where the magic happened. Hesitantly, I put my hand to the door, ready to knock. But before I could even take a glance at the other two, the door swung open. "And this-" Steve Cobs bumped right into me. "Oh dear." He grunted, fixing his glasses as I stumbled back to the ground. "Sorry, 2G." He apologized to me, that was actually the last time that had happened. 3G and 3Gs picked me up and grinned back at Cobs. They both looked up to him as a leader. It was so embarrassing to have him bump into me like that. But all that humiliation flooded away as I saw the large glowing product loom behind him. It had a deep blue colored screen that reminded me of the dark night.. except without the stars. It didn't say anything, just stared at us, processing our appearance. 3G and 3Gs looked absolutely mesmerized by the pretty MePad. It was large and looked very intelligent. But as interested as we were, he scurried off and went to hide in our "clubhouse" underneath the Meeple desk. That was all I could remember of that, too. I don't know why I kept that memory, but not when 3G and 3GS were made. Months after that experience came the one moment that seemed to have changed everything. The day MePhone 4 was made.
Hi, I just wanted to talk about mephones' specifically the ones before 4 I think a good design for mephone1 (iPhone 2g) is the one that @zealzealous and @thethatoneperson made, a cute little cinnamon roll just trying to make the world a better place Mephone2 (iPhone 3G) could be really narcissistic, thinking that they were the newest and best technology and not realizing that more better technology would come in the future, I imagine they killed mephone1 to be the only one and to eliminate inferior technology that isn't needed I've made a design for mephone3 (iPhone 3GS) she is my cute anxious daughter. After she was created, 2 went insane over not being the best anymore and attempted to kill her, she fought back and ended up killing 2 in self defense When 4 came along 3 was broken, she had killed 2, she knew that she would be outgrown and forgotten, 4 ended up killing her. It may have been to put her out of her misery, it may have just become tradition by then, maybe he wanted the spotlight all to himself... Welp, those're my headcanons, feel free to disagree, but this is what I'm thinking (Also sorry this post is just trash, I'm writing it on mobile cuz I can't sleep but I'm too tired to get out of bed)
MePhones :)
MePhone5C and MePhone3G
These two had so little screen time, but I like them!
