Oh yeah, this. Sharkfukuzawa and Orcamori have probably had some prior amicable contact with humans and might even know a little about their culture. They know humans work differently inside and that they eat lots of different foods. Eelzai eats trash straight off the ocean floor and assumes his darling will do the same, naturally.

Oh that sneaky man.... I know orcas are very social and live in pods so honestly the PM here could just be a loose found family bc Mori won't stop adopting weirdos, even if his ex husband keeps stealing about half of them for his found family. I don't think Aku would mind snapping at some random human to scare them. Or Kajii.

Sidenote Kajii is a lemonfish to me, also known as a cobia. However there's another fish called a lemonfish that's known as a spotted estuary smooth hound, and those look really pretty... decisions decisions.....

Sharkfukuzawa and orcamori fighting over who'll bring you bigger fish

Mori is so blatant with it but Fukuzawa is more subtle, giving you the biggest and most human safe cuts of the fish he hunts for himself and the others. Subtly showing off yk, he can hunt and clean too so obviously he's better for you. The moment anyone else catches on though (Dazai) it's going to turn into a complete shitfest. You can probably get a few awards for discovering deep sea fauna, simply because your pack of mermaids won't stop trying to one up each other.

Orca Mori probably invites you to play with dead fish he just caught..

Orca Mori likes knowing he makes the ocean a safer place for you, and that of course includes killing everything he thinks is a threat. And showing it to you! Maybe you want the fish for something, he knows humans eat them and he'd love to know he's keeping you fed.
