Water Water
Locked up in his display and overnight tank was preferable to his preforming pool that he shared with the other show animals like Orcas and sea-lions. Floating in the center of his tank, Sam faced the large clear wall that allowed him to be viewed underwater. As usual during the day, there was a crowd on the other side all trying to look at him. Feeling the childish urge to rush the wall and scare them he flicked his tail and swam another short lap.
His long tail was easily two and a half times longer then his human-like torso, strong, flexible, a dark seaweed green along the top, and a lighter almost blue-green on the bottom. He’d been caught after a number of months of hunting, the boats had chased him until he could swim no more, thankfully they hadn’t gotten a clue as to where any other merfolk were. Sam settled close to the bottom near one of the vents that was spewing out freshly oxygenated water, he was more then willing to ignore the crowds of people, it’s not like it effected what he was fed.
