sorry I'm sending so many asks today djdkjfkd uH

i'm a sucker for fearplay (???) and hurt/comfort between like,, 2 people who have established trust (is that how you say it???) sO mer!au of course with maybe techno and tubbo since they haven't had that much interaction so far????? uhh idk maybe tubbo does something that in turn makes techno mad and that makes tubbo's long forgotten fear of him resurface i dunno i just really like the mer au-

And yes!!!!!

Techno tries to teach Tubbo about the old mer stories, Wich mostly consist of humans being evil

Tubbo feels uncomfortable and tries to argue that there must be some part of mer history where at least one human was good- but Techno won't listen and it fustrates Tubbo since he's huamn

The argument gets more and more heated until Tubbo says something he shouldn't have and Techno reacts aggressively- suddenly scaring Tubbo making them cower at the giant mer and finally admitting that Techno was right out of fear

For a while Tubbo was scared of Techno because of that and did everything he could to keep them from getting mad- Techno doesn't notice, especially after the argument out of fear

This ends up having negative affects on Tubbo

Got back into my old painting ways and made my impression on how @awesome-slime-lover describes octomer techno in their Fish Scales and swimming pals fics (had to give him a mini tridant and please ignore how I never can't make normal length fingers😅)

Now I can just imagine Tubbo and Tommy just playing around and messing with Techno's tentacles and he just lets them have their fun while watching with a fond look.

They use his tentacles as slides and stuff. Or Techno sometimes just playfully rolls them around between his tentacles.

Techno practically loves the two using his tecntickles as a jungle gym

Especially Tubbo who he gets to watch practice doing parckore on them, unlike Tommy since he has feet

Sometimes he'll just wrap a tentkckle around one of them and pick them up if he deems something too dangerous

how would tubbo react to seeing the mers eat humans?? how would the mers react in response? wAit would tommy even Know his family eats humans since he himself can't?

(think these go together?)

And yeah- Tommy doesn't know that they eat humans until one day while Tommy and Tubbo are playing at the shore, Wil and Techno show up and start nomming beach dwellers

Both smallers were terrified as they watched their brothers eat so many humans that are as small as them-

I love the mer!au, can I just say that in certain places, high tide happens at weird times? Tubbo finds an interesting cave that he never noticed before and suddenly it starts filling with water. None of the Mers know where he is and only Techno (Human GPS) knows this cave and comes here for peace. Imagine his surprise when he sees a familiar human near drowning in his hidey hole. I imagine a hurried nomming is done, probably his first from Technoblade.-👻

Yeeeeeessssss!!!!!!

Tubbo is just chilling in the cave enjoying the warmth (like, there are a few natural hot springs-wich also help calm Techno) when suddenly the water starts getting higher, too high for Tubbo to keep up- and suddenly he's in 100ft (Techno is 50ft) deep water and trying to stay above for his life-

It isn't until Techno shows up that Tubbo finally gets a break from shredding water- lucky for him since his muscles were about to give out

Techno does a quick nom and bring Tubbo back to the others

They try not to talk about it to each other- it was a stressful experience for both

(mer au) After the whole history lesson incident (because Tubbo and Techno had a fight) Techno is a little more agressive towards Tubbo, Wich does not help the boy as he's still trying to get over the fear from when Techno lashed out

Tubbo tries to avoid Techno, but that's hard when you live with him- and everytime Techno sees Tubbo he says something negative about humans just to spite him, not realizing what neagative affects it can have on the human and his mental health

It takes the others more then a week (Tommy less, but they don't listen to him) to realize what is going on and confronting Techno about it

Does Techno ever come around to realize the reason Tubbo was so adamant about there being a single nice human in mer history was because hes human and doesnt want to be seen as evil by nature by them? Like its kind of obvious come on Techno your being difficult on purpose.

Not on his own, and Tubbo is too scared to say anything to him

But the memory of the argument slips out in conversation once around Tommy and Wil-

Once those two mers know what happened they confront Techno, but he's still stubborn about it

So they have to get the help of Philza to explain-

Techno: "Humans are dangerous. I'm just teaching him to protect himself like any other guppy!!!!!!!"

Phil: "But he's not a guppy Techno!! He's a human!!!! You're teaching him to be scared of his own kind- and himself!!!!"

It takes a bit of convincing, especially since Techno was just "teaching him right", and even after that when Techno tries to teach Tubbo about things he'll continue teaching about how to avoid and protect one's self from a human, and he won't stop until someone mentions to him that he's doing it again-
