So the cow was a hit, for my friends daughter, my mom’s coworker requested a red panda for her daughter (with the promise of payment) but I am struggling to decide how much to charge. He’ll be 2 feet tall and bullet proof, I mean, weighted, with around 5 pounds of poly pellets which are where most of the cost lies.

2 months until Comic-Con and I should be fully focused on that. But I did work on my Victorian corset today! I just have to figure out the boning situation and bind the edges. And dyed some of the fabric for my chemise.

A dress I made based on historically accurate dress designs. I had grand plans but ran out of time. So, slap a corset over the top.

And a very quickly thrown together cloak because it’s supposed to rain all weekend.

Okay but for realsy, I wanna wear this kinda stuff all the time, but I know my work would have an issue. Bitch can’t even wear a bandana 1950’s style.

Working on a Jack Skellington inspired Historically accurate(ish) cosplay for Comic-Con in uh less than 2 months. Was kind of at a standstill waiting for my boning to come in the mail but it has finally arrived so I can finish the corset and actually start on elements of the skirt and bodice.

This is Baby Doll (my mom’s doll that is from the 1950’s?), and I have been terrified of her for as long as I can remember… well, I wasn’t until little 4 year old me accidentally jabbed her eye out trying to figure out how they opened at closed.

We found her cleaning out the garage, gave her a bath, reinserted her eyeball, and I made her a new dress.

Isn’t she freaking precious? I also discovered I love making doll clothes? It was very satisfying to make.

I just need teeeny tiiiinnnnyyy buttons for the front of the dress.

So it was either sit there and cry, go to bed and cry, or distract myself with something productive. And I already spent 5 hours cleaning. So I made a bat. Is a little flat at the moment, unstuffed little dude.
