I’m going through my gift list, and checking the links, updating as needed, and I see that Farthingales doesn’t have the corset patterns I linked to any more.
Any recommendations for a good corset pattern for a beginner? I’m not interested in tightlacing at all. The ones I had on my list were Victorian, but that was more because they were recommended for beginners. I do like the idea of a split busk for ease of dressing, but the line of earlier corsets has always appealed more to me. (I would totally wear the Pretty Housemaid corset though, if I thought that a corded one would be enough support for me.)
