You Are Not Alone || Allison and Meredith.
The past few days had been very long and extremely painful somehow for Meredith, but as always, she had managed to hide it and keep it to herself better than anybody could have possibly ever had. She had focused on the work she had to get done, and on everything she could possibly occupy her mind with only not to feel the pain that her heart was actually putting her through. Being away from Derek like that, knowing they were not okay, it was killing her. She had, not so long ago, believed they were finally okay, and there was a crisis that knocked at the door and ruined it all. Was it always going to be that way?
When she called her cousin who agreed on letting her coming over for the night, she was more than relieved. She couldn't be home alone, or even with Izzie, George and Alex, for another night without having Derek near. She needed to get out of the house. Walking up to Allison's front door, she grabs the bag from the passenger seat containing two bottles of good red wine she bought on her way to her cousin's place. She figured it would be polite and mostly nice of her to do after what she had done for her. Knocking, she waits by, looking down at the floor, taking in deep breaths. Everything's going to be okay, she keeps on mentally telling herself.
