Day 2 of MayBlade and Mermay~

Lookit him. Isn't he cute? Gave Kyoujyu a scuba mask because glasses looked odd on him with his hair floofed up from the water. I dunno. Made sense when I was sketching. Anyways, he's based on the blue sea dragon slug. Like, loosely based. I just thought it was cute :D

Day 14 of MayBlade and Mermay~

Shark Mermaid~ Mariam had to be a shark >:D I've had her half complete for about a week now. Couldn't decide on how to do her tail. I considered not making her all scaly like my other mer pics, and then I remembered I made Ivan have scales even though he's an eel, so I buckled down and finished this lol

Thank you, everyone, who voted in my little poll :D The red and gold suits Julia so well~ This does mean when I do Raul, he'll have dark blue like his clothes. They are twins after all, so need to match at least a little haha

Day 13 of MayBlade and Mermay~

I love King and Queen. They have such fun designs! They did almost have opposite fins, etc, but it looked odd. And then I was about to add white/black markings, but Queen ended up looking like an orca. Not the worst thing, but not what I intended.

Koi Boy~ Hiro's fins are kind of based on MerMan Takao I did many years ago. Takao's colours are not Koi inspired, but his bitbeast colours :)

Anyways, this was so much fun but also sooooo hard. Mao herself was easy, but the bg wasn't haha.
