pets slowly

        AT THE RIGHT ANGLE,  she notices that it bounces softly against the wind.  another moment passes until she takes her eyes away from the warrior’s elaborate hair before gazing back into sharp pupils before letting out a small yap.    ❛  ruff  !  ruff  !  ❜

       THE ELDER BOUGHS OF THE SHROUD   offer silent reprieve as nighttime slowly but surely falls upon everything and anything.  there is no moonlight,  only the stars offer some speckled comfort,  littering across the eorzean skies like a thousand flicks of white paint.   twigs crunch and branches snap,   and a keen breeze ripples through the air once more.   

                                                    you are alone,  until you are not. 

         ❛    they are beautiful,  are they not  ?  ❜    riding atop that very same breeze is a voice  ;   a voice so sure and so real yet intricate it is as though the sound of low humming birds and  gentle splash of water could be heard behind it.  perched atop a mossy rock,  a woman whose hair shines in the dark and whose eyes slowly wander across to another beckons her forward.   ❛  stay with me awhile. ❜
