Mercury + Mars Hangover Tarot Spread
Take a page out of my book....LITERALLY.
As I write this in the wee hours of the morning on November 13th, I'm coming down from the peak of the Mercury + Mars conjunction in Sagittarius. This is how astrology works.... I made sure to warn whoever cared (but especially my fellow Saggies) about being mindful of their words on the day of this conjunction. I knew, as an astrologer, that I would need to be careful when driving (I can get road ragey) and minimize communication with people who tend to provoke me. That's easy enough because I'm pretty chill. Of course, all of that went out the window! In the end, life is going to LIFE, and being aware of something looming doesn't always mean you can prevent it!
In a nutshell, something came up and I had to confront it. I acted on impulse, but also well within my rights. I got a bit confrontational with someone, and it ended in tears (my own). But do I regret it? NO. Because I spoke my piece and did it with intention. It just had to come through a highly charged conversation. Alas, I'm sharing this because it's illustrative of embodied astrology. This transit was conjunct my Sag Sun & Moon. The subject matter is incredibly important to my future and part of a conversation that I was revisiting with someone (L7, as an Aqua rising - cough, cough, iykyk).
So, the emotional reaction was just my natal moon releasing the energy [anger & frustration] of Mars, which was synthesized and communicated through Mercury. What calmed me down?
