“You Were A Mistake” james/dom, val/freya, val/noah, val/henry, honestly val/everyone
It’s not as if they’ve had this same conversation a hundred times. It still bruised him, even though he knew that at her core that that’s all Dominique Weasley was - sharp words and quick on her feet. She’d yell and she’d run at the sign of any trouble, and he’d stand still with his back straight and absorb anything she’d say. Except this time, he couldn’t properly absorb it - because he was bubbling up with rage in the wake of the wroth they’d made for themselves. He turned on his heel, pacing back and forth as he ran his hands through his hair, sighing before turning to her.
“Fine, but you’re a mistake too. You’re the worst mistake I’ve ever made. You ruined everything, Dom. You destroyed every single little thing in my life. But - that’s okay. I’d do it all again, y’know. I’d make the mistake all over again.”
“What?” Freya’s voice bristled as she heard her girlfriend mutter the words she’d never thought she would say - yes, because Val was her girlfriend, right? She chewed on her lip, staring up at Val with wide eyes. She couldn’t properly comprehend what was going on right then. “What are you saying, Val? I thought we were good? Didn’t we talk about this? Shit, is this about McCarthy?”
Noah just laughs, pulling the sheet around his torso and resting his head against his hand.
“You say that every single time.”
He just shakes his head as he pulls his t-shirt down over his head. His back is covered with scratches and cuts, and his phone vibrates in his pocket as he looks over at the girl spread naked across the bed. He presses ignore, not bothering to check who it was - it was probably Venus, anyway - before nodding at Val.
“That’s okay. You’re into some weird shit, anyway.”
Iris just chuckles, tightening her belt around her waist and pulling at the knots tangled up in her hair after the blonde’s hands tightened one too many times. The brunette didn’t care, at all, about anything the other girl had to say, and she just nodded as she pulled on her coat and turned towards the door.
His mind has just been blown. So has he, matter of a fact, and he just stares up at the ceiling as the girl gets up from his bed and quickly pulls back on her dress and leaves before he can say a thing. He just rolls over, and goes fast to sleep within minutes.
