Beau, Beautiful Sea Dwelling Antelope

Beau, also known as ペーター or Peter in Japanese/Mizuno is a lazy deer villager from the Animal Crossing series. Like Rex, he’s just here for a tail, though he is starting to like Fauna now that they’ve both been transformed at this point. The green tail makes matters better, as it does look nice in both day and night.

His birthday is on April 6.

Shino, Demon Of The Deep

Shino, also known as よしの or Yoshino in Japanese/Mizuno is a peppy deer villager from the Animal Crossing series. She’s the third of our merdeer trio after Diana and Fauna, and she’s quite happy to have a tail, especially a KOI tail!

On a clear day, you might see her out for a swim off the coast of Hikari. Her scales, oh so sparkly, are easy to notice, and hard to take your eyes off of. You’ll be left, on your boat or on the beach, just watching, admiring, loving it, YEAH!

I think it’s safe to say, Shino is perfect as a mermaid!

Her birthday is on October 31.

Diana, You Fancy Fishbutt!

Diana, also known as ナタリー or Natalie in Japanese and Mizuno, is a snooty deer from the Animal Crossing series. Unlike most other merfolk, she hasn’t fully taken to the sea just yet. She does plan to, though.

In the meantime, she enjoys relaxing in her bathtub where she transformed. As assumed by her personality, she is a rather sophisticated one, and her mermaid life isn’t left out of it. Hell, she has more fins than basically everyone else! Eight dorsals, four pectorals, and two caudals! Once she goes out to sea, everybody will think she’s a very glamorous merdeer! Who can blame them? Nobody, that’s who!

The day she leaves to the ocean is unknown, but it’s likely that whoever carries her will also get transformed.. likely Fauna, but we’ll have to see for ourselves!

Her birthday is on January 4th.

Chelsea, The One That Was Uncalled For

Chelsea, also known as チェルシー in Japanese/Mizuno (Chelsea retains her name from land) is a normal deer villager from the Animal Crossing series.

Unlike most other merfolk, Chelsea wasn’t acknowledged for quite some time. Sometimes she would be mistaken for other deer like Diana or Shino, but nobody knew who she actually was.

Some believe she went down with Toby when he was transformed by Marshal, but that cannot be confirmed. In fact, some also believe that she’s been here all this time. Shocker.

Besides that, barely anything is known about this deer. It seems like she’s fond of My Melody, but that can’t be confirmed. She’s just.. completely unknown.

Because we don’t know much, she may look a little wonky. Sorry. (TechSan TOTALLY didn’t use that excuse because he was rushing the drawing as he was on a trip. Ha.)

Her birthday is on January 18, and her birthday is the only thing we REALLY know about her. Yeesh.

Fauna, Dainty Little Bastard

Fauna, also known as ドレミ or Doremi in Japanese/Mizuno is a normal deer villager from the Animal Crossing series. As I just called her, she’s indeed a dainty little bastard. Seriously, if I didn’t know better, I’d think she soaks herself in shoe polish every night, but no, she is just so sleek. Not overly sleek, but good enough to keep her fur straight and shiny.

She is probably dating Beau, as a friend on Discord suggested.

Her birthday is on March 26.
