Mereadesso Face Wash and Moisturizer Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover Mario Badescu Drying Lotion Clinique Solutions Emergency Gel Sephora Jumbo Pencil (in white) Maybelline Great Lash (primer) Maybelline Rocket Mascara Maybelline Falsies Mascara MAC Carbon eyeshadow MAC Angled Brush
As of late a few of you have been asking via instagram what I use on my face and how I do my make-up. I tend to be very very minimal with make up. I used to have really bad acne, so ever since the feeling of anything thick on my face, like base, foundation, or even tinted moisturizers, I can't handle and have to wash off immediately. A lot of people look at me like I'm crazy when they ask how I got somewhere so fast, but that's just it, I'm always in a rush and even if I liked the feeling, who has the time?
Anyway, I've written about Mereadesso before, and I'm going to do it again. I've never found a face wash and moisturizer that made me feel this fresh and so clean. Again I don't do it everyday because my skin is that sensitive but, I'll wash my face with it, you can use the washcloth to remove your eye makeup which sometimes I do, but I always live by the Neutrogena eye makeup remover pads which I use after washing my face. Then I use the Mereadesso moisturizer. If you want to try Mereadesso just get the travel packs, it lasts for two weeks and is resealable!
If I have a pimple sticking out (which I've come to terms that there will always be at least one, I'm just lucky I didn't scar from my acne I had in high school), at night I'll use the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion - just stick a q-tip to the bottom and dab it on the said pimple. Don't shake it, but if you do travel with it or such, just let it sit out and the pink shit will go back to the bottom. If it's for the day and I see a pimple in the morning, after I moisturize I use the Clinique Acne Gel - just dab it on and let it dry and leave it there. Don't scratch the pimple otherwise it can scar - but it works!
Now for make-up, I use the Sephora Jumbo pencil in the corners of my eyes in white, sometimes gold, but mainly in white. And then I use Maybelline great lash as a primer after I've applied that, if it's for the day I'll use Maybelline Rocket over. Now for night or wanting to actually do something with my appearance - I'll use the MAC angled brush with MAC Carbon eyeshadow for my eyeliner. I find that it goes on much finer, and also lasts so much longer. I just dip the brush in a tiny drop of water (or use my tongue) and dip it in the eyeshadow container and follow my top lid, and then if i want a cat eye or more intense you can create it as you wish. You can also use it for your bottom. With that after I use my Maybelline primer mascara I go over it with Mabelline Falsies mascara. I tend to only use Mascaras with the comb as opposed to the brush, I find it defines the lashes more.
Every person is different - this just seems to be what works best for me which I found via trial and error, I've used designer mascaras but Maybelline honestly works the best for me. I tend to stick to brands I like and know that work for me. I also really love MAC because they donate to an AIDS fund, which you can read about here. The one thing I have become addicted to in the last year or two is lipstick. I usually only wear MAC, NARS, or BITE. Again it's a preference, but their colors as well as pigments are too perfect.
