Don’t you just love it

When....you are in a shitty mood because you were 5 minutes into a really good nap when your hubby calls and tells you your 4 year old apparently purchased almost $100 dollars worth of goddamn toddler apps and games from the app store yesterday by accident, and then you have to cut said (amazing and much needed) nap short to call Amazon customer service like newbie idiot to try and get your money back, but then you see your tumblr notifications pop up...annnd one of your fic author friends shares a really awesome snippit with you on tumblr and you laugh so hard you almost pee?

Happy Teacher Appreciation Day!

Because nothing says “I appreciate what you do for my kid” like an F bomb when asked to sign a paper that is a district policy paper that HAS to be signed and I have no say in the matter.

austin is such a weird place to be alone and i know i'm just projecting my own experiences with the city but all i can think of is american even riding the cap metro through the city, watching it go by. going on the south congress bridge and walking back and forth just listening to music. there's this cute little gazebo by the riverbank, so she goes there a lot. while she's there, maybe she paints, maybe she writes a song or some poetry. all she's really trying to do is to find comfort in being alone (because it's what she thinks she deserves) and watching all these people together and longing for it and sure she still "has" american sonja but ... does she? then, one day, while spontaneously walking around this city with this amazing girl, who is so vibrant and she feels so so much for her, she brings her to that gazebo. they see the sun rise over and the whole city is pink and the river is calm and the buildings are quiet and she feels secure in her love and in letting someone in and she's holding shay's hand and she loves loves loves her girlfriend. so so much.

Caught Up

I’m officially caught up on my backlog of old sims screenshots. Everything posted thus far has been gameplay from before discovering Simblr and this awesome community (with the exception of a few edits). 

Future posts might be a bit slower, but I hope to put more thought into them. I will maybe play around with editing for fun. :D
