Senior thesis sucked. I never slept, ate funky things at weird times, stressed out to the point of mental breakdowns and blackouts…it's a lot of handwork that never ends. If you ever need to vent, feel free!
Thank you. My professor is pretty much hand holding, but I was super excited about the thesis until recently. I've hit the wall where it makes me want to do NOTHING. Like...I don't want to work on it. I don't want to deal with it. I don't want to deal with people who are super exciting and having a good time writing it.
I've been having issues with the writing it because I choose a topic that was close to my heart.
It's Pandora and Eve in Stories of creation.
This is my "thesis" statement. And how I was suppposed to write it. (yes she told me to write "in this paper").
In this paper I will discuss, in depth, the relationship between Pandora and Eve and how they shape what it was to be a woman in their respective cultures. By approaching their stories of creation it will be possible to view exactly where each of these woman is risen up and made beautiful and where they are torn down and forced to bear the shame of their creation. By doing this, we as scholars, can hope to see how each culture valued their women and why they were vilified in the exact moments that they were, as well as how these stories of creation were also shaped by each cultures values. -written by (S.P)
