Skipping Town ll MeredithxCrystal
Her car was packed and ready to go. She'd only taken with her the essentials, forced to leave behind everything that would include further accommodations including her cat and puppy. She'd left Laika off at Kimberly's, knowing that the pup was at least be familiar with her, since it had been Kimberly who'd bought the pup as a Christmas present for Meredith. Shadow didn't have a home though. She didn't want to leave him with Carter, thinking that a cat and a werewolf would likely not get along, so Crystal was her only option. The quiet black cat yawned lazily in her arms as she walked up to her sister's front door.
Meredith didn't wait to be invited in when the door finally opened. She dropped Shadow to the ground as her sister turned to face her. "Please don’t compare me to our asshole of a father ever again??" Meredith blurted out in lieu of hello, wincing at the thought once more. Those words had stung, even through text. Maybe that was the main reason she’d decided to go against her instincts to run and stop by Crystal’s first. "So... I'm here. Ask away..." She offered, finally glancing up to meet Crystal's wary gaze.

Little Talks II MeredithxCrystal
Meredith didn't know what had possessed her to drink Derek's damn bottle of poison the night before. He'd been right in saying that the thing was practically moonshine, since it had taken so little of it to get to her head.
She was paying for it now though, the pinching nerves around her temples were berating her for it. It didn't help that she was seated at a table in the park, with the sun shining at full-blast as if it lived to taunt her. But she'd needed to be outside today. The house had felt suffocating and somewhat lonely, although that didn't usually bother her. Besides, she wanted to clear her head and come up with a plan in order to get what she wanted from the Fae - find the cure that for now, only existed in her head. And so there she sat, armed with a laptop that provided no answers, as the rational part of her mind told her to just ask Derek, while the very Meredith-like part of her mind fiercely rejected the proposal. She'd do this herself... Somehow.
