Halloween Questionaire 2014 ~ Meredith Redford
Meredith limped towards the nearest seat, fuming. Her ankle felt like it was about to snap in two and she'd been here for all of ten minutes. The remainder of the night did not look promising. With a huff, she terrorized the nearest bartender to find her some ice, and raised her leg onto the seat beside her.
Seconds later, some girl dressed in a little-red-riding-hood costume appeared seemingly out of nowhere and slapped a piece of paper down in front of her. "Halloween Questionnaire!! Fill yours out for a chance to win great prizes!"
"Does that include a magical fix for sprained ankles?" Meredith replied sarcastically, hoping to be rid of the girl. The attitude worked as the brunette gave her a pointed look before flouncing off to hand out more questionnaires. Alone again, Meredith glanced down at the sheet in front of her...

Halloween Questionnaire:
1. We know you’re planning to dress up for the Halloween Town Fair. What will you be and why? - If you decide to wear different costumes for the different days, explain it as well.
Black Widow. Because she's hot, independent and devours men. Or wait, I guess that would be a limping Black Widow thanks to freakin' Harmony.
2. We were all believers once and nothing guarantees us that everything is exactly how we imagine it to be. Please tell us a short story that involved you and ghosts. If you don’t have one, imagine one quickly.
I don't believe in ghosts. Not anymore, anyway. But when I was little, I was convinced that one of the hallways in my dad's estate was haunted. I'd always feel cold drafts when I had to walk through it, and it had a bunch of rooms on either side that no one used. Sometimes I was sure the fourth one on the left would rattle when I'd walk by. On it's own. That used to get me running to the other side, hands down. The house-keeper claimed they were just spare guest-rooms, but they were always locked and it used to give me the creeps.
Now that I'm older I know I was just being an idiot and they definitely were just spare rooms...
3. Let’s see in what you believe. If it wasn’t a town’s event where almost everyone goes out to party, would you celebrate Halloween? Why/Why not?
Hell yes. That's the whole point of the day, isn't it? Mystery, thrills, and a lot of partying with friends.
4. What are you afraid of? What prompted this fear?
Nothing. Why the hell would I tell you, anyway?
Losing Crystal. Fae Hunters. Loneliness.
5. Here where no one else hears us: Do you believe in the supernatural?
No, cause I'm not an idiot.
Except for werewolves, faeries and warlocks.
6. Do you enjoy scary movies? If yes, which ones? If not, why not?
Sometimes. I prefer psychological thrillers, but I'll watch pure-horror as long a it doesn't rely on cheap trigger shots and buckets of gore to get the point across. Honestly, the most enjoyable part is forcing Crystal to watch with me and watching her reactions throughout the movie. Poor girl.

At that point, Meredith decided she was bored of the questionnaire, and her mood was too impatient to actually answer it properly. Balling the offending paper in one fist, she aimed for the garbage can a few feet away. It sailed smoothly inside, causing the redhead to let out a sarcastic snort.
She'd spend the evening limping like a loser, but her aim was still spot-on...
