Bonnie plots a seemingly perfect ploy that could bring down the Gemini but Kai manages to see through it. He enacts a countermeasure that practically gives Bonnie and the crew a run for their money. Thus begins a mental chess match between the two that threatens both of their livelihoods but also brings out another side of each other.

What do you do when you land in a reality that isn’t yours? That’s Bonnie’s new problem for the week. An Elena that looks and acts more like Caroline, the Salvatore brothers who seem closer, and a much smaller town. The difference was jarring to say the least. While trying to adjust in Fell’s Church she is greeted by Kuria Forsythe. The daughter of the local medical examiner and close friend of the McCullough family. Kuria’s bubbly nature helps ease Bonnie into this universe and all the stuff included. She even manages to be a bridge between Bonnie and the FC gang. Their bond strengthens as they go through various hardships like battling kitsune, hellhounds, and the revival of Klaus. When it’s time for Bonnie to return tears and hugs are shed but promises are made as well.
